If you killed him using your own strengh its easy, but if you used Yojimbo's Zamato and got lucky 4 times you are one lucky guy...

Finnaga - Lu Bu is referring to the Dark version of Yojimbo that you can only fight in the International version of the game.

I'm sorry, but he is not in the English version. The text/dialogue of the International version is in English, I think, but he's not in the U.S. release at least. Anyways, I'm looking at a guide over at GameFAQs and it says you have to chase it five times back towards the entrance of the cave. So look around at the entrance.

Plain 'ol Yojmibo is in the original game yes. But Dark Yojimbo isn't. If you have a Yojimbo in your game that you can fight more than once, then you might think you have the original English version, but I guarantee you don't.

he is i bought my version from game, which is a very big game shop and it guarantees it is the english version if not then they r commiting fraud and i dont think a big company like game can afford to go down because of that

so again i can guarantee you he is in the english version and not just the international version

Hey, I don't care if you bought the game from Square / Enix themselves. Does your game also have special abilities like Full Break and the accessory Ribbon and other bonus stuff? If so, then it is the International version, despite what anyone might be telling you.

P.S.: The game shop itself could be confused because I think that the text/dialogue of the International version is still in English.

Hehehe. The PAL version is based on the International version~

Lu Bu/ finnaga- The European PAL version IS the international version. The text is in English because Britain speaks English, and you're in Britain. The 'English' version Agent 0042 was talking about is the English US version, which doesn't feature Dark Aeons, 'ribbon' and some abilities. You couldn't buy that English version anyway because it's US NTSC and, therefore, is not sold in European shops, because we're PAL.
OK?

ok thnx so we were all right but in different ways

:) There you go. In any case, what it comes down is that you guys get goodies that we in the U.S. don't.

And speaking of that, were you able to solve the original problem and find Dark Yojimbo the fifth time?

Lu Bu

In this one case, yes. One case. One case. But FFX PAL was released half a year after the NTSC... and has its flaws here and there.
And think of all the games you have and we don't. Like FFXI...

In this one case, yes. One case. One case.
Oh yeah? What about Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, huh? What about FFX-2 International version? What about those?

P.S.: I have no interest in FFXI anyway. Online game? No, not for me.

Heh, Agent 0042, why not move over here?
That's the good thing about being in Europe, we may get the games later but they've often got stuff added.

Heh. Don't think it isn't slightly tempting, if I could.

Back on the original topic - Lu Bu - Sorry that you haven't found him yet. Sounds like this is pretty tricky. So you've checked carefully in the Calm Lands area outside of the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth as well as every nook and cranny of the Cavern itself and you still can't find the summoner?

Lu Bu
03-13-2004, 06:11 PM
if i leave the cavern to check the calm lands i have to start all over again (i think)

anyway i will take your advice and check the calm lands anyway

thnx

Oh... eh... I can assure you, agent, Final Fantasy X-2 didn't make it to Europe.
Anyway, no matter whether you personally want to play FFXI, fact is, this game hasn't been released yet in Europe, no official statement concerning its release has been given, and I don't think I'm far from the truth to assume that SE Europe won't release it. And that's showing they don't really consider Europe equals to the US or to Japan. They don't care.

I don't think so, but I could be wrong. There isn't even a save point in the cavern, is there? Don't tell me you've left your Playstation going for days so as not to lose your information?

Zhao_Yun

there is a save point in the cavern but if i save it i have to fight him from the begining again so theres no chance in wining i just gave up and Yuna is SCARY!!!
