I've done so many edits of this that it probably got dropped in there by accident. Had no idea it was yours though.

You're absolutely right, except I'm talking film versions, not edits. The track "who will take care of me" on this set is an edit heard on the album too. It is not the film versions'

Also, like the album, the original fanfare for "entering Boston" is present but the insert is missing. Minimal stuff as I said.. But not just "edits" like the Episode I UE heh

"Film versions", cues as heard in the final movie, are often the result of sometimes severe editing of the original recorded material. It's more of a semantic on how to actually label stuff like this....

Take for instance the film versions of The Intersection Scene and The Ferry Scene versus the recording sessions/album and you'll see the type of chaotic editing she is referring to.

Either way, "who will take care of me" is the extended album version and not the original cue, and "entrance to Boston" is the original and not with the new insert (almost opposites heh)

But yea, I hate when little stuff goes missing! You can't cleanly rip "entrance to Boston" either

Yes. And also the original music for the end of the movie, without the tracked bit of Prologue. And the unreleased cues from the DVD Features.

Exactly, and the film insert for Return to Boston, but yea...that one is still missing but this supplies most of the rest

I'm not really familiar with this score, but can anyone tell me about the music from the End Credits (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mRNUi8ejvN8)? Does it, or a different version of it appear earlier in the score?

End Credits consists of:

2m4 CD Intro (new ending to 'What happened')
2m4 Driving Away
6m4 Epilogue

All of which are on the Album and excepting edits, Driving Away is heard earlier. CD Intro is, obviously, just the CD version. One Horn fanfare from Epilogue IS tracked to when Tom Cruise see's the downed airliner in the neighborhood...

It's the same thing. I had the sessions for a while, so this is the only edition existing.

The only difference is Ashes (labeled What Happened? on RS)/Escape from the City (labeled Driving Away on RS) are 2 separate files. I just blended them together for the mix I presented. I also removed the track What Happened? (alternate ending) due to it being simply the opening to the album version of Escape to the City. It's a wildly re-organized version of the film mix that I simply ran out of patience trying to line up the recording session tracks to match the album version so I simply included the album version ripped from my CD. Lastly, I added the tracked intro from the Prologue into the Epilogue. Also I renamed some tracks and those are all that makes my edit different.

I'd go back to using my preferred provider Packupload but I personally think it's well on its way out the door. I can't get, on average, to more than 10% of any upload before the speeds drop drastically and what should take 20 minutes to upload simply won't finish now. For Slingfile, just scroll down to the bottom, select free download, wait 30 seconds and you're good.

How can these be sessions if they only have 30-ish tracks and runs for 90mins? I have a version with 55 tracks that runs 2h32min. THOSE are sessions (sort of). You can thank GoodMusician for that (Thread 197051). Unreal that some still don't know the difference, and I would've assumed you of all people did, codyap. Correct me if I'm wrong tho :)

Dub them what you want. Sessions, complete score, whatever. The music rocks so who cares about technicalities for a score such as this? We have a lot more music IN clean SFX-free form that we never had before and even if we don't have a few film version inserts in a clean form, I don't care how it's labeled. Expanded, sessions, complete score, just enjoy the music, man.
