Wouldn't mind getting complete boxsets of both Star Wars and Lord of the Rings if they ever release them on DVD and for Australian PAL machines. All I ever see are blue ray ones, think I might need to upgrade or just buy a PS3.

Want to get The Inbetweeners on DVD, and maybe one of Pokemon, Dragonball Z , Yu-Gi-Oh or One Piece (doubtful considering the ridiculous prices of them).

There certainly isn't any more actual movie on the Bluray extended edition, just a colour correction (the DVD releases were too green or something like that)

Ok. Thanks for summing that up. I didn't want to sound misleading if anyone was planning on getting it.

I'm sure the blu ray has more content. A lot of times, blu rays have exclusives that the DVD's do not. On top of that, blu rays are more often than not far superior to DVD in terms of quality. Not to mention, DVD's are not HD, which is why they had HD-DVD's for a short while. I don't own a blu ray that isn't in HD and I own a ton of them. Up to you though to buy it or not. You can always google for the DVD and Blu Ray content to compare them and see for yourself what each has to offer.
