Hey guys! I'm new to this forum (as you can see ) and I'm a musician hoping to make it, as many others are on youtube.

That said, I've a rendition of Wishes, main theme of XIII-2 and one of the most beautiful main themes I've ever heard, movies, games, whatever. Let me know what you think, and don't hesitate to ask for any song you guys'd want a rendition of! Making covers of these video game songs is always a pleasure, and a really nice break from doing things with "normal" music these days.

Wishes wasn't a big favourite of mine, but it was light years ahead of that crappy Leona Lewis rubbish that was in the original FFXIII - so it has points for that alone.

In any event, great job! I'd love to hear more of your piano arrangements for FF (a personal favourite of mine now would probably be Answers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tx9d4lzVdBU) - FFXIV's main theme song composed by Nobuo Uematsu and sung by Susan Calloway. It's a beautiful yet haunting and powerful track that makes me break out in goosebumps, and a piano arrangement would be really good.) :)

To be honest, I hadn't even heard the "original" theme of XIII, (I always mistaken the main theme for Serah's Theme, plus I never actually finished the game - too much school). It's definitely... different, you know? It's good they diversified and found an rnb song, but it's true, they didn't have enough time to produce one themselves and to licence an existing song. It's a still a good song - let's agree to disagree? :P

As for Answers, I was like, holy... what a trailer. Susan's voice really pierces through the orchestral mix. It's almost like she's the voice of the "last hope", like those poor people praying for the dragon to be sealed. They really went all out for this one! I'll definitely consider doing a cover of this song.

Noel's theme is pretty nice. I like the lyrics too, guess I'm one of the few who like sung songs in videogames. I found it badass in Metal Gear Rising too.

Anyways, you ever tried Eternity from FFX-2? It's the song that plays when you start the game. I've tried to play it on a piano once and it's pretty complicated.

It's absolutely clear that you have talent and a good grasp of the piano. I just wish you had a better microphone.

I also wouldn't be mad if you decided to do Eternity, as suggested above, or more piano tracks such as Theme of Love from IV, or The Place I'll Return To Someday from IX.

Definitely look into the Piano Collections if you haven't already. I'm pretty sure FFShrine has a sheet music archive around here somewhere.

Great rendition of this song. I watched your other videos. Never would guess you played Kawai grand piano. Your piano has very nostalgic sound; it doesn't sound like the ubiquitous Steinway. The sound isn't as pop-musicish as the Steinway's. It's sharpier in treble and somewhat lighter and more dense in bass. Great song and even better performance - with so much emotions. My congratulations.

P.S. It would be SO awesome if you made a video of playing Searching for Friends, imho one of the best songs of the old FF generations.
