You know... With you sharing all this stuff -and whoever is giving it to you (or downloading it from)-... you are gonna make it more difficult to get any more of this good rare stuff. It is true that many people over here already had all of these, before they got leaked. But the problem is that the people who provides these in the first place are very strict about rules of confidentiality... Basically, if stuff like this gets leaked, they stop providing... Hence, those dealing in private are cut off... Hence, YOU ARE CUT OFF!! After all, you got it because some one else got it, with a lot of effort, I should add... In this world, nothing is free, unfortunately... And you don't seem to be aware of the underworld that exists beneath all this!

I'm sketchy on the details, but scorepranos and quite a few other people on this forum have this secret club where they share recording sessions and swear never to release them.

kgray decided to be a man and uploaded his rare scores so that us lesser folk not in the circle can enjoy them.

Of course, now scorepranos, bollenmanke, and anyone else in the 'secret club' are pissed off and will never give kgray anything ever again.

Probably because scorepranos knows what he can share and can't share, I guess. How does it feel, man, to make scorepranos have legal issues? I'm telling you, you do not have a consience, you are unscrupulous. And you forgot to answer the question about Harry Potter. Too late for that. It confuses me that having a democracy that works could also mean hypocrisy running high depending on who's benefiting from it or not. Cage a mouse if you will but sooner or later as long as it's breathing it will still find a way to get out. Remove that from the equation and someone else will do the same just like a cycle. I didn't invent the rules... I just apply to them, because that's the only way of getting what I want (that's what I meant by 'expanding'... expanding a wishlist)... After all, everybody that comes here comes to fill their own personal interest, which only concern to themselves...

My dear... I�m sorry, but I�m beginning to worry. To me you are like a little kid in a candy store, looking up beedy-eyed to its owner or salesman whom you expect to give you some candy crumbs if you only smile sweetly enough. If it�s true what you are saying then you are far too submissive for my taste. Scores are scores... but in the scheme of things they are trivialities.

This is one thing to leak 1 or 2 sessions, its another to leak 7 or 8 in a day. If you wanted gladiator like I wanted myself you would have found a way to get It like I did, when you really want something you "might" have a chance to get it. So yeah you can be grateful because you have what you want but some will never have what they want (not necessarily because of me or the ellitists) but because these sessions will stay burried deep down. I personally dont care that things get leaked, I know they will anyway but leaking so many sessions is suspicious and restraining for some to get more sessions that will surface here one day.
And yes as I said before i do not trade for the pleasure I spent days and night deep down in the internet asshole to find what I want so yeah you are ruining all the efforts that me and others have made to unbury rare sessions.

Just as an aside: THANK YOU! A very big thank you to kgray, now I know what Salt is supposed to sound like. Thanks to this release I now know that Salt was butchered beyond relief for the official release. There�s not much more music on this, but guys... the sound is sooooo much better, it�s mindboggling.

Just my 2 cents... A post i read in one of these "threads that should not have been allowed to be public" said something in the vein of - "if we don't have an elite, how can there be anything special?". Let me put it this way - check out Star Trek and what the late Gene Roddenberry imagined the future world would be like - Noone would have to worry over money and everyone would have the opportunity to pursue their interests. Which pathway do you think the public would benefit the most from? Which pathway do you think would produce the most interesting stuff?

Since you both are using dbPowerAmp proceed like this: go into the configuration options ("dbPoweramp Configuration"). Then go to the tab "Codecs" and after that click "Advanced Options". Scroll down till you reach "Decoder Options". There you can configure the FLAC decoder to ignore stream errors. 'Orlov's Story' will then be processed without incident. There will be a slight pop - that�s all. If all goes wrong, simply edit it to include the original material from the official CD. But adapt the gain before you do that.

I would recommend it highly. The album presentation was atrocious, but this is a far superior edition. I say get it, listen to it, and if you hate it, you can always delete it :)

I suggest listening to the first track and escaping the CIA first :D

I considered not posting on this, because quite frankly i missed the last couple of days crazyness, and seems that it's starting to cool down, but after reading all the shit that's gone down, i got to that post and had to post.

Then your setup must produce errors because these sessions are completely free of distortions. But they are in 48 kHz instead of 44.1, so you might have some bad resampling kicking in.

No. There's no really "elitism" actually in this soundtrack area. Just a bunch of people living in fear ! - either fear to be cut off from a private circuit for being leaking out stuff, or at the level above the ones who asked this because they don't want their production, whatever it is the original studios or the little compagnies that are in charge of the DVDs and BDs releases, to investigate about who can be leaking their material.

Anyway, any discussion about a member or another is totally pointless. You don't know their lives, their job, their contact, anything. Speculations is all you can do.

Now, I'm not a hard soundtrack collector but having searched for a couple of special ones not long ago for some gifts and having found a great PHYSICAL contact who could find any thing, I can tell you there are an incredible amount of scores of any period in complete form or sessions that I browsed I have never seen on the Internet. Just so you know there are still people who meet on this planet and they don't forcedly need the Internet for that, neither to share their stuff.

... That should make both sides of the debate seeing the rubbish of the conversation.

I did. When I extract 2 and 3, it fails partway through and says, "Operation failed: Parts of the spanned archive are missing or corrupted. Please put all parts in the same folder. Then open the first part only..."

to be fair, I've never seen archives split into multiple chunks that actually ended in the archive extension. normally partial archives end in .part1, .part2, etc
