they do seem to be of the same quality as those Da Vinci Code cues from a few weeks ago, virtually no SFX but still a few sound hiccups here and there (and various tracks still absent)

if it is fake its indeed scary how much better it sounds than dvdrips

Oh fuck it, it's Garage. :) He has an expanded Sherlock Holmes 2 thing, and some cues are fake and some are not. I don't see the point in making mixed bits of everything. He once faked something from Harry Potter which was a mix between the OST and a demo cue. So odd...

So far, I've done a thorough check on disc 1... no SFX or voices on all tracks. I'll investigate the second disc later on.

If first off, you have to trade 2 things to get 1, more fool you. If you have to hand over your material first, shame on him! If you are not familier with JokerXXX after all the shit that has occure donline since 2012 about him, shame on you. If you are fooled enough to part with anything for something that you cannot verify is real in the first place. Maybe you should take up knitting instead of scorehunting - As you are clearly not very good at scorehunting (to anyone this applies to - In all fairness)

If there are sound effects in these tracks, I'm getting a really hard time in spotting them. I did notice some minor hiccups, but nothing that might compromise the listening experience that much...
I'm not a big fan of this score (in fact, I don't seem to understand why is everyone ripping their heads off for this one!!!) but, having seen the film so many times now, I can tell you that this is the closest to a complete edition that we can get... until the actual sessions come up (which are out there, locked in some pocket, by the way)... Just be patient... These things eventually get leaked.

Most noticeably a fake but like everyone else has said: it's not TOO terribly bad. The zero gravity fight music sounds much better here than any other bootleg that I've heard. The mixing together of the different sources is also painfully noticeable at times but for the most part, I find very little complaints from this fake. It still re-confirms my initial thoughts that apart from a decent theme and some pretty stellar action cues, this score is largely uninteresting. I'll nonetheless wait for the complete sessions to conclude my assessment though.

thats one of the tracks where I cant be sure if its SFX or just very inaudible background instruments because it seems to have a strange sort of rhythm to it

Its fake, meaning its not real, as there has been many statements that show evidence to sfx being in the tracks/certain tracks. As good as this may be, it remains obvious it is not real and thus a fake (are you getting the point yet) Move on!

If you like it, i cannot see there being much of a problem! If you are having problems with its legitamacy, then you must, yourself, place into evidence the overal concensus. You cannot put your trust in anyone here as the evidence would require you to take opinions from such! It's not you, it's Garage. And it is unfortunate that you got this from someone at the site that I know you've found some decent stuff at.

False. Garage's edits ONLY consist of the OST, DVD rips, and mixes that include both things that can sometimes sound pretty close to the real deal and also mixes that are nowhere close to anything anywhere. Bottom line: any of these mixes only originated from the OST.

Did you consider why there is a large gap between those? It's because the cues that are missing between those have too many SFX in them and cannot be cleaned up. And as only a handful of us only truly understand: demos or recording sessions should not and cannot have SFX in them. So they were left off.

It is the same. The only reason it’s 25 minutes longer is because there were two suites added in previously not found on Garage’s edit. But who the hell cares about some silly fan-made suites?

And I forgot: to those who think these "sound like demos": the creator of this edit simply ran the tracks through a couple filters to decrease audio quality and remove, I'm sure, several frequencies.
