I've just logged out and clicked the link to see the problem, and its recognised one of the files (Patronus Light) and has blocked it on the grounds of that. I even changed the file name and zipped it up to prevent that, so will have to find somewhere else to upload it now. Bare with me guys...

The Sorcerer's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban and Deathly Hallows, pt. I are all identical to their OST counterparts. Hell, even Inception* and Sherlock Holmes are identical. It must be a thing with Warner Bros. This year, Argo and TDKR are identical, but not sure about The Hobbit. Disc 1 is 16 tracks of score while disc 2 is "Song of the Lonely Mountain". But not ALL of their FYCs are identical to their OSTs. Deathly Hallows, pt. II is different for sure.

* "Waiting for A Train" does not contain the interpolation of Edith Pi�f's "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien" like the OST does. It's also missing "A Half Remembered Dream" and "We Built Our Own World", thus making the FYC only 10 tracks and not 12, and starting off with "Dream is Collapsing"

The studios put them together (in this case, WB) and send them out to the members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. They're (usually) highlights from the selected film's score to be considered for the Best Original Score Oscar, as well as Best Original Song. Some are very common, some are very rare. But in this case, WB is screwing us up the ass with these FYCs because they're identical to their OSTs

I really don't think either thread had anything to do with what happened. Not every serious score collector is a member on here, however, they would look at sites like eBay regularly as it's amazing what crops up on there from time to time.

Someone please explain how the FYC promo mirren provided is at all different from the OST. I downloaded the FYC years ago and was disappointed to find it was exactly the same, just as I did yesterday. 21 tracks, all with the same titles.
