I played 7 first because at the time that I figured out about FF games It was the most accessible to me at the time.

I first played 8. I was stuck on the giant machine spider in Dollet before I realised I could junction my GFs! I thought Ifrit was impossible!

Yeah I remembered when I first played 8 I must have been really good because I had GF's junctioned but knew nothing of junctioning magic. I didn't pay attention and didn't have any junctioned magic until the third disck when you have to fight Fuijin and Raijin outside of Lunatic Pandora where my brother finally brought me out of the dark by slapping me on the head and laughing.

FF VII. My friend recomended it to me. Before that I played a Japanese demo and knew Cloud, Yuffie, Vincent, and Sephiroth from Ehrgize.

For me the first was the original your little pixel person stepping forward from the side of the screen, then swinging their weapon, then sparks appear over the enemy if you hit them and coluds if you miss. Good times

FF7 was my first and it was because a friend of mine said I wouldn't be able to beat it. Turns out I beat it way before he did. And I just kept playing from there.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that FFVII is going to be just about everyone's because that is the game that REALLY got the series going. I probably wouldn't be a fan if that game hadn't come out.

Yeah we all know that.

Like many/most, FFVII. I don't think any RPG has really equalled the sense of adventure and excitement it conjured up in me the first time I played it. A huge world! In a game! It even took me a long time, on my first playthrough. I found the whole thing... just amazing. No games been that good since, not even 7 itself. ;D

FF1.

I was about 3 years old when my brother first shoved the controler into my hand (he gave me explicit directions to hold down the a button while he ran to the bathroom). He did not know then, but it was the start to my on going 16 year addiction.

The first FF I played, was FFIV, which I had brought off of a workmate of mine. I even bought FFVI off of the guy as well. Then I sold them. At the time I was only 13 yrs old, so I admit I was stupid back then. However, I do remember that I had engraved my name on both cartridges. Ironically, 10 yrs later, I win copies of FFIV and VI (The SNES versions that is) off of eBay. Imagine my surprise, when I looked at the cartridges and saw my name engraved on them!

Thing is, out of the two, FFVI would have to be my fav. Great storyline, great characters (Even if there was a little too many of them. EDGAR RULES!!) and good music.

It was VII and I still think it's the coolest.

I lost my Final Fantasy virginity to ff7. Then I played them all up to ffX then most of the classics. and finally X-2. The only Final Fantasy's I havent beat are ff1 and ff3.

I'm currently working on ffcc and tactics advance.;) ;)

VI. All in my lonesome, it seems.

Those were captivating days, at my friend's house, sitting and playing VI with two people... the last of the multiplayer FF's (not counting XI)... and beating the crap out of things. And, o, the cheesy lines! "Run, run, or you'll be well done!" And thusly, it has remaind my favorite FF. VII's got nothing on this baby's gameplay (Of course, VI doesn't have much on VII's storyline but SHHH).

VIII for me. I got to the second-third disc (somewhere in there) and then quit on it, as is my personality. I've got to get back into it.
