Yeah, the point of uploading music in lossless is that anyone can convert to another lossless or lossy format... Its nosense to upload in mp3 too... But if the uploader wants to. he can do it.

By the way, could you possibly rip the KOF Sky Stage and Neo Geo Heroes Ultimate Shooting soundtrack too? The one rip we got around here had a 5-second fade out at the end, ultimately rendering it useless as the loop point is exactly at the end point.

I've been playing the Art of Fighting and World Heroes Anthologies and noticed some issues with the rips.

Art of Fighting Anthology:
223 Comissioner (Geese Taking Demo) is something else, it sounds like it's from the OST but I'm not sure of the correct title.
224 Uh Geese (Geese Appearance Demo) is the original version not the arranged version.
226 Towards the Hungry Wolf (Geese Escape Demo) is actually: Comissioner (Geese Taking Demo)

Also the World Heroes Arrange Sound Trax is of a higher speed and pitch than how it sounds on the game.

Regarding 224: it may sound slightly different due to how the OST CD was mastered?
Whatever the reason it doesn't sound like it's arranged mainly due to the the guitar sound being the same one used throughout the OST whereas the other OST tracks which use that same guitar sound don't use it within their arranged counterparts.

I have the PAL version.

yeah that game soundtrack is mastered different style "they mastered not me =)" vs others KOF 01 games and that's why i ripped that.. Dreamcast have KOF 02 but it's sound just same like Arcade or PS2 version and that's why i dont rip that game..

One question: is there any difference in the KoF XIII soundtrack for the Steam Version for PC and any other rip? I've seen it has 2 types. Do you have a rip of XIII with everything, not the official one? Thanks in advance.

i dont own that KOF steam version is hard to say.. but what i seen YouTube it's sounds just like KOF XIII PS3/360 version...

A little correction on the NESTS saga gamerip tracklist: the "unused" tracks aren't so much unused as they are bonus tracks for whenever the challenger selects a certain Striker in '00, like Kaede or Fio.

Speed and pitch are different compared to my NGCD rip and even NG ost (which match the NGCD for speed/pitch).

i know that gamerip pitch is 2 high vs original sound version "PAL PS2 gamedisc".. i tryed fix that but it's sounds terrible and lags so bad.. that's why i keep that "high pitch" version.. and others WH games have lots more pitch errors and that's why i only rip WH1 AST...

yeah there is many athena ports: arcade, MSX, NES, C64, Amstrad CPC & ZX Spectrum and almost forget PSN/PS3/PSPVITA..

if you mean RAW REDBOOK rip sure.. but normal i always try loops 2X and tag & song order match to official source of album.. i mean that thouse redbook versions songs orders are not same they are really different vs official source.. some1 good loop points and some game dosent have and they cant loop right.. if i cant loop songs then i only change song order and tag correct that albums...

Snkhero, may I ask you to rip KOF13 soundtrack from consoles or PC?
I've downloaded two versions of console soundtracks, and both of them lack few tracks here and there. Some tracks with the same name don't even sound the same.
There is one track I would like to recommend in particular, the one for order select before Evil Ash battle in Arcade Mode. This track in my possession has two version, one is called Eye of Storm, which plays for 1 minute and fades out when it starts getting excited, another is called unnamed track 01, which plays only for less than 40 seconds. And both of them didn't loop properly. It just made me really really want to have all console tracks.

here comes first chapter of my neo geo boss syndrome collection "92-94" what boss character you love/hate most =)? my is kof02 original not um version rugal.. that boss kicks your spirits outs your ass and that rugal theme is really nice 2 ^^

that kof 01 was my first KOF games and one my faverity "dont know why people dont like that game"... when you must fight first vs original zero damn that was hard when you lucky get beat that ass down next come that demigod igniz and you get ass kick less then 10 seconds ^^

Probably because is the child of transition between SNK and Playmore. It has the most weird soundtrack and artwork, the system was drastically changed... and it came after 2000, the highest point of the NESTs arc. Of course not many people like it. But obviously, it all comes down to personal preferences.

not bad idea at all.. no it's awesome idea =) ok let's thing about it... there is must album name, some boss character it's plus that boss character theme is that same album like "Geese Howard" and official neo geo logo in bottom corner likes official neogeo soundtracks.. and that album name font/color and style like thunderdome albums there are lots albums but album name is always same way.. oh there is coming about 7-8 albums that's means 7-8 different boss characters maybi?^^

Gonna try that. Also, I found some blood like spots backgrounds that could go awesome. Gonna try that too!
