wut would be the best items besides the weapons in the game???(rare items, too)

anyone wanna tell me what the use of the mythril was?

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Okay, so you got the Mythril from the old man in the cave, right? Well, near Gongaga there is a weapon seller in a hut on his own. If you talk to him, he will let you trade the Mythril for one of the items in one of his boxes. If you open the box beside the door, you will get a Gold Armour. However, if you open the box up the stairs, you will get the Great Gospel, which is Aeris's Level 4 limit break.

And my favourite items? i didn't really have 'favourite' items, although Ribbons were very useful. ;)

Yea i'd have to say ribbons too, as they were extremely useful and great to have.

Yeah the ribbon is proberbly the best item.If you mean the other sort of item then it is a megalixer

...I believe so....ribbons were the most useful item in the game...I could only find two....although I kind of wish..there were three to find...so that I could prevent status effects for my entire..party...

I almost never used items. If I'm low on hp I can just use cure. And I never run out of mp... except once when I was fighting ruby weapon. I thought all items were easy to get, though. For the megaelixer, just go chocobo racing and you'll have plenty of megaelixer in no time.

My favorite item is probably the tetra elemental...that w/ the mens armlet that immunes u from some status ailments...its a pretty sweet combo.

it sounds like most of you are saying accessorys too, soo, i think the tetra elemental and the ribbons were the best in that catigory, espesialy when you have 3 ribbons and like 7 tetras.

otherwise the megalixer and the midgar city key were quite nice items.

I think the best expendable items are Hero drinks....they rock.

If you morph a ochu (i think) then you recieve a ribbon try that and get one for every character i did:D

You know what else are useful? reagen greens...just give like 100 of um to a gold chocobo, and then ur chocobo will kick ass!

I would say Hero's and Ribbon's .. have those 2 equipped and nobody can beat you xD
Hyper is another usefull item if your addicted to limit breaks ;)

<font color=2670A8 face=tahoma size=2>Healing and MP recovery items. Never live without those. I rarely use the "rare" items worrying that there might be another important battle coming up. =\

You can get multiple ribbons. Morph a master tonberry.
I prefer using 4 mastered elemental materias, with one of each element, and a ribbon.
Now that is a sweet combo.
