Here is the complete soundtrack to the 2012 film version of the smash-hit musical 'Les Miserables'. This comes from a leaked academy promo DVD, is in two parts (MP3 320kps) and great quality! Also, I'm presenting it 'as is' so it does include all the dialogue and effects, but still a great listen though!

NOTE: FLAC not available as the source AC3 file isn't lossless.

Wow.. That was fast..... Thank you so much... What tool you use to exact the soundtrack....

I used DVDfab to do an exact audio copy of the AC3 file and then AC3 Tools Pro to demux it into 6 mono wavs (or in this case, a stereo wav file as that's all my copy contained). I was originally going to upload a FLAC file, but it would have been 720MB, so went with an MP3 320kps file instead.

I deleted the link to mine as someone took it upon themselves to post a 'tracked' version that will no doubt keep people like Lockdown happy. I could have done the same, but didn't want to compromise on quality to be frank. Anyway, I'm sure they'll be a lot more uploads of this in one form or another.

Made a custom cover for this Les Misrables Complete Soundtrack. Do you like it? It was the hardest one I've done so far--I'm kind of a newbie at cover-making.

Here it is:

The image I used is actually from the French movie poster, cropped down. I found one that was a ridiculously large size (Great quality) and I cropped it from there. I had to do 2 edits to the photo though... I had to take out Javert's silver "hat pin" because there was writing over it (with the people from the cast), and I had to lighten the image a bit to make the word 'The' visible. I tried not to lighten it too much though, because I didn't want anybody to look like a pale zombie.

Hope you guys like it! Use it if you'd like, I'd sure appreciate it if you did!

Cool, thanks for sharing! I think I might wait till a proper complete soundtrack comes out (why just a Highlights Album, people?!?), sound effects drive me crazy. Then again, just in terms of the signing, this probably won't be the version I'll be listening to frequently. Hopefully we can get some of Anne Dudley's re-orchestrations on the purely instrumental sections (although ironically, even if a complete album release, this would probably still Not be on it)

Then again, just in terms of the signing, this probably won't be the version I'll be listening to frequently. Hopefully we can get some of Anne Dudley's re-orchestrations on the purely instrumental sections (although ironically, even if a complete album release, this would probably still Not be on it)

They only did a highlights as there wasn't time to put together a full album as they were still working on the music until the last minute which is why there is only a highlights. The deluxe edition is out next week though and contains a lot more music and seems to have the full versions of all of the songs on it. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Les-Mis%C3%A9rables-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/dp/tracks/B00BF94HHC/ref=dp_tracks_all_1#disc_1

zip

Hello and thanks for the zip-File but it doesnt unpack correctly. I keep getting an error, no matter
what software I use. Any suggestions?

This isn't the official release, just a tracked version of my original rip/upload.

Here is the End Credit Suite in FLAC (http://www.adrive.com/public/7zZt3d/Les%20Miserables%202012%20-%20End%20Credit%20Suite.flac). I extracted it from DTS 5.1 mkv file.

Would you mind doing this for the whole movie, because it would be beyond amazing to have the full soundtrack in FLAC. DVD Rip. Please?

I have the audio in original DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1.
I can do a rip tonight and upload it tomorrow.

I'm busy with other things right now.
I can provide 7.1 FLAC and the original 7.1 DTS-HD MA elementary stream remuxed into a Matroska container (.mka for audio-only).

Actually, just the elementary stream.
Converting to FLAC will drastically increase the size. I'm not willing to upload a bloated audio file.

I'll provide the necessary eac3to bundle to get you started on properly decoding DTS-HD Master Audio to FLAC.
I can do the whole movie as a single stream (with embedded chapters), then you can use MKVtoolnix to split into chapters/parts for smaller files.
With the smaller parts, you can easily convert to WAV and/or multiple WAV files for each channel.
This will allow much easier and quicker editing in most audio editing software as this will produce WAV files under the 2GB/4GB limit.

I can also write a little guide to get you started too.

I won't do for the whole movie because if I only listen, I will play 10th Anniversary Concert or Complete Symphonic Recording.

It's the same as in the film. Also, you do realise the only studio work done music-wise, was the recording of an orchestra playing the score before that was edited and integrated into the film's soundtrack. The cast performed their vocals live on set to a piano track (heard via discretely hidden ear-pieces), so the mix that appears in the film and on both editions of the OST are the only complete versions they did.

Here is one collection of articles ordained by Mr. Stuart Fernie.
I see her as indispensable to anyone who has ever seen, heard or there are posted "Les Miserables" in any format or version.
Enjoy your reading!
