One of the things that made FFTA different to the 'normal' FFs (at least recently) was the fact that only a few of your characters were set, scripted - the others were all randomly generated (well, their names at least.)
Although these characters never take part in the story, their role in battles gives them (well, at least to me) a certain personality - or maybe i'm just crazy. Anyway, I thought i'd share with you a few of my clanners, and give everyone else a chance to share theirs.
WARNING: I've gotten quite a few of the 'secret' characters - if you don't want some of the story spoiled for you, don't read on.
Clan Nutsy - aka yes, I left the default name
Clan Leader: Marche (Human, Soldier)
Everyone knows and loves Marche - the shy boy who became the hero of Ivalice, first by proving himself in the Clan Wars, then ridding Ivalice of the evil Sorceress Queen, and driving off the Redwings. Master of all jobs, Marche especially specialises in dealing massive damage to the enemy with a single stroke.
Clan Majordomo: Montblanc (Moogle, Time Mage)
Initially the Black Mage of the team, Montblanc specialized in all forms of magic, especially focussing on the Temporal arts. With his Haste and Quicken spells, Montblanc often supports the main attacking units, while being a good friend to Marche.
Clan Leader (Clan Ritz): Ritz (Human, Elementalist)
Marche's friend in St. Ivalice, Ritz was cold with Marche and his desire to return Ivalice to normal. In the 'alternate' Ivalice, Ritz joins Clan Nutsy and romance is budding between her and Nutsy's leader.
Clan Majordomo (Clan Ritz): Shara (Viera, Sniper)
Shara met up with Ritz shortly after her arrival in Ivalice, and the two became fast friends. Shara joined Clan Nutsy shortly after Ritz, and is a great friend to Ritz - and also being so close, spots Ritz's feelings towards Marche very early on. However, she also spots something that Ritz does not - the relationship between Marche and Adelaid is very suspicious.
Clanners:
Kingsley (Human, Ninja)
With Clan Nutsy since Marche's arrival, Kingley was a soldier who left to find his fortune in the clan wars. Specializing in Swordcraft, Kingsley has experienced many jobs before finally becoming a Ninja. And expert in double-sworded technique, Kingley deals great damage with his Masamune and Charfire combo.
A bit of a loner, Kingsley is a brilliant strategist, often aiding Marche on the field. He is also growing close to Shara, and spends many hours alone with her, discussing life as a clan member in Ivalice. Could there be something more...?
Adelaid (Viera, Assassin)
Also an original member of Clan Nutsy, Adelaid specialised in long distance combat - her archery and sniper skills helped bring many victories to Clan Nutsy. Her killer determination and discipline made her the perfect candidate for taking on the mantle of an assassin, and now deals quick death to any enemies on the battlefield in a single blow.
An extremely beautiful Viera, Marche was attracted to Adelaid from the beginning. Even though he had feelings for Ritz in St. Ivalice, her callousness in this new world caused him to turn to others around him for comfort. Marche and Adelaid became lovers, although the relationship between the two is more sexual than close in nature.
Since Ritz's return, and the apparent feelings for her, Marche seemed slightly distracted. Although not all members know it, there is now a strong sexual tension between Adelaid, Marche and Ritz.
Rober (Nu Mou, Alchemist)
This extremely intelligent Nu Mou has been with Nusty since the beginning, when he served as White Mage. After the clan grew stronger, and no longer required as much healing, Rober began studying the Dark Arts and became a Black Mage.
Interested in all forms of Magic, Rober devoted his life to study and now specilalizes in the extremely potent forces of Alchemy.
Ocon (Bangaa, Defender)
Originally the muscle of Clan Nutsy, Ocon has never been much except to be there to kick some tail. Lately, because of Marche and Kingsly increased power, he isn't needed as much, and tends to take on a lot of the Dispatch missions Nutsy requires.
Timothy (Human, Hunter)
The newest member of Clan Nutsy, Timothy was an archer who dreamed of fame and glory. Seeing some of himself in the shy boy, Marche decided to take him into Nutsy, and found him to be knowledgable in all forms of monsters.
Timothy now travels with Nutsy, collecting all the monsters he can to transport them back to the Monster Bank in Cyril, and also giving advice to other clanners on the best spot to hit to get more damage.
