@Scotty57: Thank you so much for this Happy New Year Gift :-)

@Amanda: I have never seend a score from Picket Fences, too. But some years ago I have found the main theme in really goog quality - I've enjoyed it until my harddrive crashed. So I hope that someone could replace it.

Your Welcome!

I did a Google search and all I found was Amazon offering the Picket Feneces theme for $1.00 I did find the same theme on another site, but it is at 112 kBits (sucks) but there you have it.

Thank You so much for the Earth 2, Scotty57! :)

Loved the show, never knew there was a soundtrack released :)

[EDIT]

Here's some info I found after a bit of searching:

Composer David Bergeaud visited New Mexico to get an idea of the scenery that would be used in the series, and he did a wonderful job capturing that beauty in the musical score. The recordings for the pilot, "First Contact," were done using a full orchestra, but in later episodes it was David himself playing all of the instruments used. He utilized many uncommon instruments from other countries, like Australia, and his music reflects this influence.

Although an "Earth 2" soundtrack was never publicly released, there was a limited run of CD's created from the "First Contact" recordings. These original CD's are silver with the show's logo on the front, and the cover insert has a front and back side. There have been bootlegged versions of the CD floating around and they pop up at conventions and on eBay every now and again. Although it is the same sound quality in the music, these bootleg copies are cheap CD-R's and the insert is only one-sided. If you are interested in hearing this beautiful music, please head over to "The Journey Continues" web site where an online version of the music is availiable for download: <span style="text-decoration: line-through;">http://www.msu.edu/user/thursamr/soundtrack.html</span> (page no longer exists...)

Here's an (small) alternate cover and back I found, also:

If the back can be trusted, these are the track numbers:

01 - Main Title
02 - Opening
03 - Escape
04 - Out of the Pod
05 - True Meets the Koba / Trekking
06 - Alonzo's Dream
07 - They're Back
08 - Terrians at the Campsite
09 - Burial
10 - True & Uly in the Woods
11 - Devon Falls Into a Dream
12 - Desert Dream
13 - Talk with the Terrians
14 - In the Fields
15 - To New Pacifica / Gaal

Your Welcome!

I have the series on DVD, it was a shame they concealed it before it really got started.

The only place I found where you can download it is from Earth 2 First Contact by David Bergeaud @ ARTISTdirect.com - Shop, Listen, Download (http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,4711821,00.html) which links to iTunes.

The track list on the back of your image is incorrect

This is the Correct track listing,

1: Opening
2: Escape
3: Out of the Pod
4: True Meets the Koba/Trekking
5: Alonzo's Dream
6: They're Back
7: Terrians at the Campsite
8: Burial
9: True & Uly in the Woods
10: Devon Falls into a Dream
11: Desert Dream
12: Talk With the Terrians
13: In the Fields

And the only rip I've been able to get is a 512 x 384. There seems to be a larger, better-quality version, but it has only German audio...

It seems the only way to get a good copy is buy it from Amazon! it sucks but what can one do.

As for the tracks, the ones I uploaded are correct, the ones on the back cover are incorrect! no big deal.

Have a good weekend...
