Here's my own spin on the Django Unchained soundtrack.

Django - Luis Bacalov and Rocky Roberts 2:54
The Braying Mule - Ennio Morricone 2:33
Rito Finale - Ennio Morricone 3:07
Lo Chiamavano King (His Name Is King) - Luis Bacalov and Edda Dell'Orso 1:58
Norme Con Ironie - Ennio Morricone 3:58
Town of Silence (2nd Version) - Luis Bacalov 1:19
Freedom - Anthony Hamilton and Elayna Boynton 3:57
Town of Silence - Luis Bacalov 1:33
La Corsa (2nd Version) - Luis Bacalov 2:18
"Requiem" (Verdi) / Prologue - Masamichi Amano 6:35
I Got a Name - Jim Croce 3:15
I Giorni Dell’ira - Riziero Ortolani 3:06
Minacciosamente Lontano - Ennio Morricone 2:44
100 Black Coffins Rick Ross - 3:44
Nicaragua - Jerry Goldsmith feat. Pat Metheny 3:29
Sister Sara's Theme - Ennio Morricone 1:26
Ancora Qui - Elisa Toffoli 5:08
Blue Dark Waltz - Luis Bacalov 1:07
Unchained (The Payback / Untouchable) - James Brown and 2Pac 2:52
Freedom - Richie Havens 3:27
Ain't No Grave - Johnny Cash 2:53
Who Did That to You? - John Legend 3:49
Too Old to Die Young - Brother Dege (aka Dege Legg) 3:43
Un Monumento - Ennio Morricone 2:31
Dopo La Congiura - Ennio Morricone 2:00
Trinity (Titoli) - Annibale E I Cantori Moderni 3:04
Ode To Django (The D Is Silent) - RZA 4:58
Wiseman (Unused) - Frank Ocean 3:51
The Payback (Django Remix) - James Brown 1:54
Django (Instrumental) - Luis Bacalov 2:54

I culled the musical (non-dialouge) tracks from the OST and added the highest quality versions I could find of any unreleased material, using information from this very helpful article: Beyond The Soundtrack: All The Music In 'Django Unchained' Including Cuts By RZA, Richie Havens, Ennio Morricone & More | The Playlist (http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/beyond-the-soundtrack-more-music-in-django-unchained-also-includes-cuts-by-the-rza-richie-havens-more-morricone-bacalov-20121221)

Many of the tracks are from Morricone soundtracks that I found here on ffshirine, but some came from more lossy sources. Hopefully this release can be thought of as a starting point and the more connected members of our community can track down higher quality versions and/or the remainder of the missing cues.

Still missing in this version are:
“Gavotte” - Grace Collins
“Trackers Chant” - Ted Neeley, Bruce Landon Yauger
“Ain’t No Grave (Black Opium Remix)” – Johnny Cash
and the excellent version of "Fur Elise" that's featured as source music in the film

Hope you enjoy!

You should do something like:

FEATURING:

Ennio Morricone
Jerry Goldsmith
Rick Ross
James Brown
John Legend
Johnny Cash
Luis Bacalov

That should work

Regarding Morricone 'The Big Risk' it is known that it's part of a score called Hornets' Nest. According to Hornets' Nest- Soundtrack details - SoundtrackCollector.com (http://www.soundtrackcollector.com/title/22154/Hornets%27+Nest), it's the track No.5 of the LP.

So far so good, but it's now that the plot starts to thicken. There is only one CD edition of Hornets' Nest released by quartet records. But this track 'The Big Risk', it's nowhere found on this edition.
It could be one of three things: a) the track was left out from the CD; b) it was in fact included but now under a different name. And in this case it could be the track No. 3 'Bianca, the German Doctor', since both have the same duration; or c) the track was edited for CD (expanded, reduced, etc.) and thus it's now different of the LP version and also under a different name.

All in a nutshell the score of Hornets' Nest was shared here: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/ennio-morricone-ost-special-collection-121088/6.html#post2191627.

Now it only takes someone who knows the score very well, in particular 'The Big Risk' track, to shed some light on the matter.

That was my conclusion as well. From what I can gather, "The Big Risk" was an edited suite on the LP. Since I don't have any sample of the LP, I can't judge where the music appears on the expanded CD. But as you said, hopefully a Morricone expert can help us...

'The Big Risk' is an edited suite. In 'Django Unchained', what we hear of 'The Big Risk' is as follows -
'Bianca, The German Doctor' 1:17 - 2:05. (We hear this as soon as the titles roll, up to when Schultz is looking at Broomhilda's information)
2:05 then fades nicely into 4:45 of 'Bianca, The German Doctor' until 5:04, the end of the track. (Which we hear up until Schultz and Django discuss Candieland)

Essentially 'The Big Risk' is 'Bianca, The German Doctor'

Hope I have been of some help! I am a huge Morricone/Tarantino fan with a good ear :)

I second this request. The mundane rapping makes this the most-skipped track on the CD for me.

On a slightly geeky note, did anyone else notice that the Native-American sounding chant that is sampled on "100 black coffins" sounds A LOT like the chant in Red Dead Redemption's track called "Horseplay"? Is this a common or popular piece of music - or perhaps they both drew from the same sample library?

Quite surprisingly, it's the most played track on the album for me. Let me be clear as to how much I hate Rick Ross, and that I cannot stand rap "music". And I put music in quotes because I hardly consider it that. And I also think that these rappers have some nerve calling themselves "artists" or "musicians". But honestly, I love 100 Back Coffins. It's one of the rare rap songs I like. My thought going into was "ok, if Tarantino liked this song enough to include it in his film, then I trust his judgement and I must give it a listen". I really like the music portion of the song, but like I said, I cannot stand Rick Ross. But after a few more listens I was hooked

In Django I noticed he put in the credits that he used Rito Finale when in fact he used the peice Rito Finale (#2) from Cittia Violenta. Thought I would let the QT Django fans know! And for Lo Chiamavano King he also used and mixed both Main Theme [Lo Chiamavano King score] and Lo Chiamavano King (using the drum roll when Dr. Shultz let Django pick his clothes).

Amazing!! Not sure if they download is complete like you envisioned, but still wonderful! Just a small question though, why the decision to use 256 KBPS and not 320?

It's been a while, so I don't recall for sure, but I always use 256k for AAC. I've heard it's more efficient than 320k. Smarter people than I would be able to say for sure, but certainly it is a mixed bag until a better version comes along…

On another note - sheerly by coincidence - I just finished re-watching this film. More and more, I find it to be one of Tarantino's BEST films (if not *the* BEST). I love it.

I thought my link was still active, but just in case:
