What is your favorite music score from FF8?

Mine is a tie between The Man with the Machine Gun and Liberi Fatali. (The song when Seifer and Squall fight in the beginning)

It's a tough choise... I really like all the music in this game... which is why I bought the soundtrack... but I'd hafta say that "Liberi Fatali" is my favorite.

Liberi Fatali. I like all the FF8 music though. It's great :)

I really like Love Grows..... I just like the sound of it and it can usually calm me down if I'm pissed off.

I don't know why, but it stays in my head for ages after I hear it.

My favorite is actually the Final Fantasy VIII DEMO music. The Dollet Battle is completely different and I like it a lot better. Its on the pizza hut ps1 demo. Anybody interested in it can always bother me on mirc for it by the way.

My favorite music in FFVIII is definetley the Dollet Mission Music (I totally agree) Eyes on Me was a good one, and so was Liberi Fatali. Some other pretty good ones were blue fields and Only A Plank between something (the sort of like hurry your in trouble music)

Yeah, the Dollet mission music is indeed "The Landing." It's a very popular piece.

That was the winner of the first FFVIII music rumble and also the winner of the FFVIII All-Star Rumble.

Fithos Lusec is my favorite song in FFVIII.

My favorite sound in FFVlll is the music you hear in Ultimecia's Castle. It sounds classical and I LOVEEEEE Classical Musics!

Liberi Fatali, Laguna's Battle Theme, The Final Battle, The Time Compression Theme, The First Mission Theme... God, there are so many good songs available in this game.

Liberi Fatali, because it is the theme of 8, and sets the tone of the game. The rivalry between Seifer and Squall, the relationship between Squall and Rinoa, the presence of Edea.

Laguna's Battle Theme, because I like humming it.

The Final Battle: Sends shivers down my spine even now when I reach that final section of the final boss and I see the true, and scary, final form.

Time Compression: I don't know why, it's just catchy when you're walking around getting ready for the final dungeon.

The First Mission Theme: Because it's lively, and gets you straight into the game.

Hmmm... come to think of it, FFVIII had a lot of great tunes. It's hard to choose.
Did anyone mention "The Stage is Set"? That one rules. Maybe my favourite track. Maybe. :o

I definetly like the Man with the Machine Gun, My Mind, Oceanside, Liberi Fatili, and Ride On, which I believe is the Ragnarok theme if I am not mistaken.

Battle theme is quite good, as is the booses theme. The Oath is also quite a good track, and Eyes on Me is beautiful, almost beating Metal Gear Solid's "The Best is Yet to Come"

All of them are brilliant, i'm a HUGE fan of Nobuo's work and as a musician too (is that how it spells?) i started trying to perform his compositions on my guitar, took me a while but i got used to his style now...I'd have to say The Extreme is a MASTERPIECE, it revolves many progressions and its just very hard to perform... for a videogame thats really an impressive piece...Liberi Fatali is also very very good but i never really tried to perform it

The best music on FFVIII is 'Landing' (I think it's called that anyway). It's the one they play as the potential SeeD's land on the Dollet beach.
