These tracks incidentally were produced as a means of keeping the show running during a musician's union strike (2003 I believe), though were never actually used in the end. Furthermore, they're incredibly rare, so do forgive the not-so-great quality of them. Until I can source a better quality set, these will have to do for the time being...

I ripped the demos found on the current Toy Story 1 & 2 Blu-Rays/DVDs. It even includes demos for songs that didnt make it into the final cut! I converted them to FLAC even though the original source was ac3. Here's a link to anybody who wants to download it.

Several of what I'm looking for ARE available and I've heard them on youtube before the videos got deleted for copyright infringement etc. Also, I know how lazy a lot of people are on this site and how a lot prefer to grab what's on offer rather than share anything of their own.

I don't like uploading so much because I don't like a lot of the free file hosters.

You're welcome. I've still got the original analogue 'Pocahontas' instrumentals to post and the 'Little Mermaid' ones also despite them being ruined by the inclusion of some awful midi instrument playing the tune. As for my 'Beauty and the Beast' complete score - the tape unfortunately is damaged beyond repair, so I'll try and track down my original source (not seen him since the late 1990s) to see if he'll send me a fresh copy of it.

I agree with ggctuk2005, the overall quality of what you shared is excellent. I am personally grateful with everything you have shared because I (and countless others) wouldn't have been able to enjoy the music otherwise. Aside from spending some rewarding quality time with my family this Christmas, what you've shared is my second best Christmas gift.

That's too bad about the BATB tapes. I am curious, though... Are these tapes compact cassette tapes or something else? Sorry, I am not very familiar with audio tapes and what kind of tapes this music is recorded on.

They're normal cassette tapes. Incidentally, you'll be horrified to learn I kept some of them in a box in an outside cupboard for years and the weather has got to the ones stored at the bottom of it unfortunately!

Please, just stop making up stories like this as they do more harm than good at the end of the day!

Yea, it makes creating my own personal 'definitive' version a pain in the backside. I've taken to attempting to cover a couple of the less-complex cues.

I've just logged out and attempted to download it myself and got the same 'permission denied' message along with it telling me to go and purchase one of the tracks from Amazon etc! Their software must have recognised the opening track somehow, so I'll have to find somewhere else to upload it.

Ah, you're probably right. You can try 4shared.com. You have to sign up to upload and download, but I've never had any files of mine deleted from there.

In case anybody is interested, here is a non-official Hercules "Go The Distance" (Michael Bolton) instrumental version (not Roger Bart from the movie) extracted from a 5.1 rip, eliminating the (C)enter channel. Though it does contain some vocal echo, you still might find it interesting.
