It's certainly better than nothing. One of the rarest albums out there!

Yep, one of the rarest indeed.

Coincidentally there's an auction going on for it at YAJ.
UFO A DAY IN THE LIFE オリジナルサウンドトラック (http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m106266511)

Current price 18,000 yen. 6 hours left. Zero bids. This is the first time I've seen this album pop up on sale.

If only I had the money!

Someone should pick it up. An oddity like this deserves an audience. Even though the audio quality's pretty bad for this rip, the music itself impresses.

Hey, Dragoon!

So, if you check a certain other force-ful site, people have a better version of the real, original soundtrack with all 23 tracks on their FTP. I asked people to upload it there, because I wasn't going to keep it. My game music collection is "as things as played in the game." So, it is the music as you experience it in-game, from a gamerip of many crazy files compared against the tracks on the soundtrack (which are combined). The titles are the soundtracks, and the sub-titles are mine. I sent a private message to DragoonEnRegalia, who's a good person and can take care of it. (Work, work, work!)

I'm sorry if that's an annoyance, but it's also better than nothing and the only 1 I have at this point.

This is the second time I've seen this soundtrack on Y!JA (the first one I saw was without the obi present). Anyway, I have plans to get this soundtrack at some point in time (love the game), including Moondays, so I will upload them in FLAC/V0 when I do... if someone doesn't do so before me.

After the auction ended with no bids last night, it was re-listed right away for another 6 days. The price dropped to 15,000 yen.

Keep it going. If it's down to 5000 yen, I'll make a bid :P

Here is a 160kbps mp3 encode that someone made in 2009.

Hey I'mNotHere. It's a 64 kbps transcode. :(

Where? Where? WHERE?! ._.

Fantastic. I'll wait for this. ^^

To do a gamerip is easy. I ripped all audio tracks directly from game's ISO. Some of them are some sort of talk/speech, but will leave it up to you to decide what to keep and what not.

Tracklist:
Download:
UFO -a day in the life- (PSX) gamerip [FLAC].rar (193.08MB) (http://www.sendspace.com/file/qxzedr)

UFO -a day in the life- (PSX) gamerip [VBR V0 MP3].rar (62.44MB) (http://www.sendspace.com/file/3u9g6t)

Well, yeah, but that's not really helpful as is, no? They even partially use the tracks in-game more often than they play something. Hence, why I edited the tracks, ordered them, and named them.

And if I recall, it's missing tracks, like the Village People pastiche and such. I could be misremembering.

160k (rar) version that theq66 gave me. (http://www.mediafire.com/?78qnhtq7q5dc8sc)

I've reordered all the tracks so that they fit in album order (sans "Vector", which doesn't appear on the release). All the individual Suite variations sit in their respective folders, for example. This should make listening easier because these variations fade in and out of the top melody to signify an event in-game. Now that all of the tracks exist standalone, organizing them into coherent sets ain't an issue.

This is my first time dumping anything (I've been a passive downloader all this time). Feel free to point out any problems in the file.

Oh, Milo, that wasn't meant to be rude, if that's how it came off. Sorry if it did!

Thanks, Dragoon.

Kira, check your private messages.

I didn't have any problem with what you said earlier, theq66. Wasn't sure if that plain (un-edited) gamerip would be useful to anyone, so I uploaded it just in case.

Can somebody reupload the 160kbps reencode, please?
