i was just messin, i really dont care all that much about the film versions as im not the biggest fan of the TF scores. 80 tracks w/ 155 minutes of lossless audio is enough to keep my ass happy.
and about the film version of "optimus", that cue was likely made by messing with the actual stems at the dubbing stage. you want it, you're gonna need the pre-dub, which is probably harder to get im afraid...but if youve got the right contacts it wouldnt be a problem i suppose...

Scorepranos recently stated in the Avatar FLAC thread he will not be re-upping any scores, nor sharing any new ones. We can only hope he changes his mind.

I managed to get this from the generally acknowledged shitty and painstakingly slow sendspace that additionally stops the download on free will... - Compared with the likes of mediafire etc. I could re-up it. But someone should re-up Avatar, and the rest of the Transformers... Thanks to scorepranos of course.

I don't know. That international Uploaded site that I've downloaded from a couple times was way worse. I've never had sendspace stop a download, but when I used to have a bad connection with an older router, almost all of my downloads stopped, no matter what site I downloaded from.

if you use a downloader like Jdownloaderyou can just pretty much d/l the link and it takes over from there...including resuming downloads if for some reason the connection is lost.

I get stuff from sendspace in about 10 minutes or so, and have never had a dropped dl...:awsm:

I think some of bigger files have taken me 20 minutes --which I think is usually for a zip file-- but most of the time, I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes for anything the links I get from this site. That Uploaded site and Rapidshare are really the only ones that are reeeeaaaaalllly slow for me.

Even if it is slow for some people, you can buy faster speeds for like $9/month. I don't know about others, but I would be more than willing to pay $9 for scorepranos shares vs. bitching about the d/l speed. Personally, my d/l speeds from sendspace were about 70 kbps which took about an hour for each part.

willing, oh I am willing to... lots of things ;)....but back to topic, willing is one thing, able another. and sometimes (even) 9$ is more than one might be able to afford. Additionally to all other things that need to be payed, that is.

And on the other hand, in cases like that I am more than willing to wait for however long it takes (I have dls that take 3 hours)...I mean, it is for free and otherwise I would not have (it whatever share) at all.

Oh shit, he's from Long Island! So am I! Anyway, Transformers should have won the VFX Oscars every year, and maybe even the Sound Effects Mixing and Sound Editing. But because Hollywood is all about politics (and because the Academy doesn't want to give an award to a movie like Transformers), that's why The Golden Compass, the Bourne movies, Hugo and other films were awarded instead.

All right, don't mean to be "that" guy, but do you know what I would love? If track 68 "All Spark" was the proper full version of "Arrival to Earth" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk5-G5BLxsQ). On all of the other releases (sans OST) its the 8-minute sweet suite, while here it's missing the last two minutes. Well, maybe missing is the wrong word here since it was probably recorded that way. But I would love it if someone uploaded that 8 minute version, or better yet, take the last two minutes of "Arrival to Earth" and add it onto the end of "All Spark" from this set, since this seems to be the only true lossless complete set for this film.

I suppose I can do that, if that's all that needs to be done in order to make it the full 8-min suite. May as well, I started a "film mix" today. Crossfading all cues as they are in the film. A real film mix of this score is impossible, what I'm doing is more of a listening experience. If anyone is interested, I'll post it.

And the set Lockdown posted is more legit than this. 24-bit/48kHz. Yeah it's missing a few tracks, but it's higher quality.

I'm not an audiophile so as long as something is lossless or 320kbps I'm cool with it. Helps that outside of bitrate I'm really clueless when it comes to sound quality. It's a good thing I've got the Transformers master himself to guide me through it, trying to navigate all of these releases is a nightmare. I'll give the Lockdown set a try.

Funnily enough, the Youtube link I posted is actually *surprise* different from this sets version. That flute seems to be missing in the Youtube version. Maybe one of them is a demo or something? I don't know, like I said, there's like five different versions of each cue it's a pain to keep on top of it. The only thing I really know is that the "All Spark" cue just doesn't seem to end right with those "missing" two minutes. Such a petty thing to notice with over two and a half hours of music, but hey, it's ffshrine and people on this forum are unusually good at picking out missing or alternate cues from seemingly "complete" releases (no wonder most uploaders have thrown up their hands and have just started calling them "Recording Sessions" from now on).

But hey, enough of that. Thanks for the quick response and the offer of help, I'd be grateful if you could work your magic!
