Here's a set of pre-recorded 'live' orchestra instrumentals for Stephen Sondheim's 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street'.

Whilst these are extremely similar arrangement-wise to the Tim Burton film version, they're not as big for the most part, but do include a lot of additional songs and music that was cut from the film.

Also, until a proper bootleg of the complete instrumental film score version surfaces (I'm aware of the 'approved mixes' file that was posted on here a while back now), these will have to suffice for now. Enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE There's two track 15s in the act one folder whereby the one titled 'Ballad of Sweeney Todd Reprise' actually belongs in the act two folder. Anyway, just do a copy and paste job on that to correct the mistake :-)

I agree and have many more like it including the complete pre-recorded instrumental tracks for the original Broadway cast recording of 'Hairspray'.

I personally never really enjoyed harispray. I enjoy the more darker Broadway shows like Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserable, and of course Sweeney Todd!

I had the pleasure of seeing a stage showing of this when I was in high school. Our drama teacher took us.

I've got 18 tracks from the fairly recent Polish highlights album. However, they're just the orchestra stems minus a few instruments, percussion and keyboards, so are pretty bare in places (they've not been processed/mastered either).

Anything you can share from these Orchestral Tracks from Musicals would be a treat!

Both your requests are actually available - i.e. 'The Little Shop of Horrors' UK DVD release has an isolated score track on it (not sans vocals though), and there's an isolated score track on my Blu-Ray copy of 'The Sound of Music' as well (on the commentary track).
