means that the file owner's traffic is exhausted. have the same prob on different downloads from RS. maybe there is a fault on their servers?

That's what the downloader gets to see in german speaking countries like Switzerland, Austria and Germany.

It means that RS has new policies implemented since November 27th.
The traffic for free accounts is now very limited.
I suggest NOT to upload to RS any longer, for your will run into the same problem from now on day by day.
Uploded.to now is the hoster of choice for our purposes at the moment.

Regards and thank you for all your efforts and the the new link.

It's just a bootleg -- there was never any "rare" release.

I remember reading online that somebody had a copy, and talked with Goldenberg, and found out he didn't even have copies of these scores himself, so he had to get a copy of this just to have his own work.

Hi, guys!

Here is the lossless version (FLAC) directly ripped from the original 'bootleg' CD. High res scans included in the archive.

It's highly better than the previous lossy WMA 192 kbps upload...

If you can't install Chrome on your computer, MEGA works with jDownloader software or FireFox browser (with a free plugin).

If you're stuck with Tiger (MacOSX 10.4.x), I suppose you've an old PPC Mac (some of these are compatible with MacOSX 10.5.x Leopard). But you still have a solution. jDownloader is a Java software. The last Java update for Tiger is the release 9 including Java 1.5 and on jDownloader MacOSX download page, the version for Java 1.5 is still available. So you can install and use it for downloading MEGA links.

I hope it will help you gathering more recent uploads.

Merci beaucoup.

This is one of the coolest finds ever. I don't think I enjoy any soundtrack composer more than Jerry Goldsmith. Except Billy Goldenberg. Duel. Colombo. So many others. And Fear No Evil and Ritual of Evil. For those two Universal TV movies, he wrote what I still consider the creepiest, scariest movie music ever. He had... well, we have the ultimate misfortune of him having worked for Universal, who in their corporate idiocy don't seem to care for anything that came before Spielberg. Even spielberg before he was Spielberg, else some of his early directing - like his great weird episode of Name of the Game would be available somewhere. Legitimately.

Universal has sat on so much great stuff or mis-handled the release of much of what they have allowed out, like the horrible re-edited 2 hour versions of what were great 1hour first season McClouds. Or like neglecting everything Goldenberg wrote. Took them about two years of releasing dvd box sets before they thought about adding booklets. What a clueless bunch of suits.

So Ransom for a Dead Man is an unexpected, if far too short treat. Thank you all for getting this out here.

Now where's Fear No Evil??

Thanks for the ink to the Colombo thread. Some great stuff in there.

Just noticed that there are 15 tracks listed on the cd jacket back in the first post and only 10 cuts in Ransom for a Dead Man download. Were some of the 15 cuts combined?
