The score to the movie The Good Thief was produced and arranged by Elliot Goldenthal; whilst the score music is generally received favourably one major complaint is that it is too short and that the other tracks supersede Goldenthal's scoring work,[2] it contains eight pieces by him and other artists including Cheb Khaled, Serge Gainsbourg, Johnny Hallyday and Bono; the song Bono covers is the Frank Sinatra song "That's Life", produced, with a string arrangement, by Goldenthal. The original score cues were performed by both The London Metropolitan Orchestra and The Irish Film Orchestra.

Don't let yourself be discouraged by these new regulations.
Always keep in mind, that's just what they were up to.

But you're stronger!

Yes Goldenthal, is one of the most talented and consistent composers from Hollywood, it's a shame that he's not working too often now...

Absolutely agree the thing is that nowadays the young new directors don`t know what film music is all about and they choose keyboard players and synthesyser apprentices from the Zimmer gang, self called "composers" to make electronic noises for their films, and that`s why true gifted composers like Goldenthal, Davis, Fenton, McNeely, Yared, Eidelman, Fenton, (just to name a few) are not working more often, SAD BUT TRUE :(
