Yeah. I was worried that I might be the only one intelligent enough to tell that it actually has a lot of real alternates. (some of the other tracks are clearly rough drafts or bad edits), but I have really enjoyed the prologue alternate, and I think it's better than the final version.

There's a lot more (better) percussion throughout the track, along with some sampled perc, and a different layer of the nastier long-decay/echoing trilling "baneish" violins (which can be heard in full during 5m33 - 35) is louder in the mix.

Gotham is Yours is another of the sessions having multiple endings/added overdubs etc. etc.

Let's wait on the others to confirm the authenticity of the 116-track-sessions.

worth noting btw that the bane suite from the origins pack contains what is essentially a demo for the prologue scene/gotham's reckoning track - is the alt version in this 116 track release the same as that??

Okay, I've taken the time to go through this 116 track version, and below are the tracks that - official or not - at least SOUND that way to me, and are sufficiently different to those on any other bootleg/leak thus far that I know of. Some people have mentioned others, so if I miss them out either it's because you've mentioned them, or I disagree lol.

04. 1m1 v11.2 Rev (5:34) - the prologue, or 'gotham's reckoning'. As has been mentioned, this is noticeably different in parts to other versions, such as the demo on the bane suite origins pack track, or the official ost version, or scoreprano's leak: from about 3.50 in the drumbeats are noticeably different.

08. 1m3 v1.12 (1:18) - the truth about Harvey dent. This has a different beginning, with a sighing type noise and extra drum roll type beat during the flashback to two-face part.

34. 3m20 v9.05 (5:02) - batman chased. This has an impressive, 25 second odd extended opening cue to the batman theme that plays as he arrives on the bike, as well as other minor alterations throughout.

47. 4m28 v4.00 (2:02) - the shadows betray you. This has an alt beginning with the whispered deshi basara chant included that adds well to the dark atmosphere of the track.

55. 5m33 v4.05 New (4:36) - cops into sewers. From 3.20 this has the deshi basara chant added - a faster version similar to the opening bit of all out war at the end of the film - which sounds great.

57. 5m35 v9.07 New (7:35) - instrument of you liberation. Again the chant is added, at 1.36 and 4.40, and again it makes for a welcome change.

59. 5m36 v1.06end original (5:05) - gotham is yours/bane's speech. This has an extended ending with a great drum fade, which claims to be the 'original', but could easily be the demo version of the track already featured in the bane suite on the origins release.

61. 6m37 v5.02 Born in Darkness (2:22) - born in darkness. This has a new darker opening cue, and a twangy effect added to the bruce wayne theme as happens in the uncrackable safe track when he appears for the first time.

85. 7m51A v3.02 (1:15) - all out war intro before the cops charge. An alt version of this, with the drumbeat slightly changed from 40 secs in.

90. 7m52-53 v3.04 edit (4:50) - not an ordinary citizen. Only a minor change to this: there is no chant over the climax of the track.


110. Bane Suite (23:01) - this is longer than the origins version by about 2 minutes, hard to tell where it's been extended.

111. Cat Suite (15:58) - far longer than the origins version, and very well edited, with extended intro, outro, and everything in between.

Of course these could be fan edits or official; i'm no expert. Some tracks are clearly edited by amateurs, and cross fades are easy to spot (1.09 into 7m54a v 5.02 is clearly a cross fade from someone new to audacity or something); and 8m56 v.203 'alt insert' is also a clear edit, of a hero can be anyone from the ultimate 3 disk version uploaded on here, that fades out after the sad theme when bruce tells Gordon who he really is (clear that this is from the 3 disk edit as the official score and scorepranos leak both omit this wayne theme between tracks).

Oh, and interestingly the 'moody bruce new transfiguration' suite is totally different to the identically named track on tomandandy's 3 disk ultimate version (which is in itself actually Aurora, released by zimmer after the shootings). This version is actually an unnecessary extended mix of the ost's Imagine the Fire. The track 'rise' sounds like it's taken from the end credits.

There are more, such as the imagine the fire isolated cues (which sound professional as there is no audacity-type fade or cut, but rather an echo effect with no trace of the link between these tracks and the next during the versions heard in the movie, but on the whole these are the main ones for me.

I just saw the movie again, now, with this version of the soundtrack opened in Adobe Audition and this is the original score from the film, the real rip into the movie. The Scorepranos version too, but some tracks have better quality than this.
