You mean Dawn of Ys? It should; it's a remake of Ys IV. Very distinct from any previously-existing version, though (SFC, PCE-CD or PS2). This one's actually done by Falcom.

Oh, the soundtrack version I have was called Dawn of Souls, but yeah, that one. It's nice to know that it was actually done by Falcom though, that should insure its status as fantastic. I'd meant to look up more about the game earlier, seemed pretty interesting.

One thing... Anyone hasnt notice that there isnt a "To Make The End Of The Battle" ver. song??? :o. In mostly all the YS OST's you can find that gorgeous anthem, haha. Weird.

Grabbed it too and have been enjoying it all week. It reminds me just a touch of Yamane's Castlevania: Curse of Darkness which also reminded me I need to listen to that again. Thanks for all the work to get it online!!

unfortunately the quality of the first one isn't great, but the dreaded 240p is all I can find around. if I knew the original japanese title I'd probably find something better, but I don't.

yeah, I noticed. but Ys often homages other musics. I don't know if this was intentional, but just to give you an example, the recurring item get jingle is almost exactly like Metroid's.

this one for example. the song is the same, but it includes a beginning part that's not in the soundtrack version. I found 3 or 4 songs from the same user that have minor differences... including a completely different orchestration of the opening song.

I just wanted to add a late thank you. The current Falcom sound team is absolutely amazing and probably the best tied with the original one, and I'm looking forward to hearing new music from the guys that gave us Ys origin and Nayuta no kiseki.

Amazing OST. I don't believe, as a HUGE JRPG fan, that it took me this long to try the Falcom games (Ys, Legend of Heroes). My Vita is in dire need of more love, and there is no better way to revive it other than playing Ys Foliage Ocean in Celceta once it hits the US this September. Many thanks to you Gestriden for this great job.

One of my most anticipated games this year. Then again Vita owners don't exactly have a ton of options ._.
