Anything new? Like stereo tracks or anything (not fauz stereo but real)? If not, and you're after stereo music, I'd strongly recommend going for my own personal edit: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/hans-zimmer-lion-king-expanded-score-not-120000/?highlight=

BTW, why the hate for The Morning Report? Granted, they didn't have the original singing voices, but it's done by Mark Mancina (the same guy responsible for the film versions of I Just Can't Wait To Be King and Can You Feel The Love Tonight?)

EDIT: It is indeed chiefly comprised of the previous bootleg with half-in-mono tracks.

I dont HATE it, I just dont really care for it.

I do enjoy Mark Mancina's work though... Just not The Morning Report...

Fair enough. My own edit included it as an optional extra given it appears only in the one DVD release.

I still find myself disbelieving that out of all of Zimmer's scores that have come out as of late, this one is still missing a complete release (there are a few cues that all bootlegs will miss out on, mainly in the form of inserts and that FYC version of Circle of Life).

Ive listened to your edit. In fact I posted my instrumental of the Hawaiian War Chant on the thread. Its a nice edit. Probably the best thing to listen to until we get a a complete score leak.

Yeah I agree. I also find it hard to believe that this hasn't been leaked yet. Its my FAVORITE Zimmer score!

Why? It's just the old complete bootleg re-ordered.

It's in fact the old bootleg just re-ordered...I didn't change any bitrate for any track (I didn't want to lose quality sound trying changing anything)

By the way, question about bootleg from Lion King...may be someone could ask me here :

I found different bootleg about Lion King's score...Different because duration for some tracks are different. I explain :

From a first bootleg : "The Once And Future King" --> 3:08 (the exactly speed as it's heard on the Blu-Ray)
From a 2nd bootleg : "The Once And Future King" --> 3:26 (too slow compared to what is heard on the Blu-Ray)

It's exactly the same track (musically I mean) but I noticed the "playback speed" is different (I don't know if my words are correct)... I hope you understand what I mean.
It's like the difference between DVD & Blu-Ray... "playback speed" is difference.

So... what is the source of that 2 differences ? I still don't know... I don't know what's THE original bootleg....

The version I posted on this thread is the Film Version speed (total duration : 1:57:08), but I have an other version of the exactlly same score, but it's slower (2:02:44)

LINK UPDATED ON THE FIRST POST... ;)

The difference is that one has its playback rate changed from 48kHz to 44kHz (the result is a slowdown) whereas the other is resampled to 44kHz (which dowsamples the piece without slowing it down). They stem from the exact same source.

Thanks for informations :) ! I understand now... This slowdown version was the first bootleg I got... May be 7 or 8 years ago. The quality sound was much better than the 2nd bootleg with normal speed playback...but this slowdown was a problem for me.
