Erich (or everybody, really), I've had the full score version of this for a few years, but at 192kbps. I downloaded this version in the hopes of upping the quality level of what I own. Comparing the two, I noted that mine has three extra tracks at the end that add up to just over 16 minutes of music (looks like a suite, an alternate cue, and an extra track). My 192kbps version is 99.3mb while this complete version is 125.7mb. That's not much of a difference in file size - not enough to account for the difference in quality from 192 to 320. In fact, I'd guess that the three extra tracks could account for the difference in file size, meaning that this version is actually 192kbps re-saved as 320. That's okay if it is, I just wanted to point that out in case you (or anyone else) didn't know. It's better to have such a beautiful score at 192kbps than not at all. The quest for a 320 or FLAC version will continue, however.

If anyone reading this has it on CD (from a real press, not burned from a home computer), it would be magnificent if you'd be willing to share it! It's a beautiful score, probably in my top five from Poledouris. I'd say Conan the Barbarian, Starship Troopers, Farewell to the King, and Quigley Down Under would be the other four on that list.

Anyway, my intention is not to be picky - I'm very happy to have what I have, and greatly appreciate everyone's sharing here - but I love this score so much and would love to obtain a full quality copy if at all possible.

For what it's worth, I remember seeing Les Miserables on Broadway years ago and not liking it. Basically I was completely confused. It was all in French and I was too lazy to read the playbill, hahaha. My bad. It wasn't until this movie came out that I understood, and fell in love with, the story. I think it's one of the best stories ever written. It covers so much ground and has some truly profound things to say. Obviously I love the movie - it's how I know the story. I think Liam Neeson and Jeffery Rush were brilliant casting choices too.

And guess what, the file size of the flac rip, it's only 196 mb, see it for yourself I just sent you the link.

Well, it makes sense that I'm talking crazy because I am, in fact, crazy. It's right there in my username! :-) I guess what you're saying makes sense. I have the official release on CD, but never compared the bootleg version to see if it was just the official release split into tracks. Who's got time for that!? I trust you though. The bootleg version is longer, but that could just be because certain segments are repeated in the bootleg. Interesting. Thanks for the extra link, btw. And for the clarification. Like I said before: you're Gold.
