To be honest, I think this is probably the worst arcade game that Data East created. Granted, I do like the game because of the Rambo-like storyline, and that it is a top down shooter, as well as having good gameplay, but the main problem as to why I don't like this game is that they did not do a good job with the creation of the hardware. They picked some pretty lowsy chips for the graphics and especially for the sound. I feel that Data East should've made this game on their DECO-32 hardware, which was the hardware that had Robocop 2, Two Crude Dudes, Vapor Trail, Mutant Fighter, Captain America and the Avengers, and Nitro Ball. At least that hardware had a very good chipset for the graphics and for the sound.

But I guess Data East had to work with what they had, since usually the underdog companies tend to get the good chipsets for the music and sound AFTER the famous and pop culture icon Japanese developers (like Capcom and Konami) get them first.

If you want a more polished up version of this game, I recommend the TG-16 version.
