Of course I've beaten the guy.... but since my Final Fantasy X: International Disc refuses to work with me, I can't beat him again. :(

I have all the Mungus sisters on 255 defence and he still kills them in one move, I wonder if Yojimbo's Zamato works???

I think Zanmato only works as a lv 4. Which means that your relationship with Yojimbo must be really high.

I know how to beat that Aeon!!! ;)
Just do this:
First u must have 1.3Million gil or so and then summon Yojimbo(It's better if he has an overdrive) and Pray for Zanmato!

Easy as ABC,eh?:o

Yeah just who the hell is penace? wich version of ffX are ya playin? Is it something in the monster arena or what?

Penance you say? oh penance is the last secret aeon in final fantasy X and penance is also the toughest enemy but i can beat that aeon without using Zanmato of Yojimbo but that will take at least Hours...;)

Hmm...secret aeons you say? would these be anima and magus sisters by any chance of are there actually others which I've missed?!?!? Yeah, and Penance looks quite hard....I watched someone fight it.....*shudders at memory*....dear God....the arms...the arms....

OF course Penance is an secret aaeon because in FFx-2 did you fought him/her when the aeons are gone wild?

Back to normal: Penance cannot be beaten without yojimbo, if he can then that gamer should get a medal.

I beat him with Yojimbo, it cost me 3.5million gil and i had Grand Summoned him... but i didnt save... it just didnt feel right.... So i tried to take him on without summoning Yojimbo and i basically got my arse kicked and then beaten and wen i was beaten Penacne tried to kill me again.. But im guna beat him soon.... or try to at least.

Penance= A sacrament in some Christian churches that includes confession to a priest, acceptance of punishment, and absolution.

This is true if you think about it.

Confession- You admitt your a traitor of Yevon
Acceptance- Your punishment in this case is having to beat the Dark Aeons
Absolution- Defeat Penance.

note: Penance( A Christian Sacrement) has to do with a Sin you have commited.

Well either that is true or in absolutly crazy. anyway good luck to all who try to defeat Penance.... Or can even get past those Dark Aeons. Cause they are hard to beat as well.

this guy that uz is talkin bout..is in FFX??..if so..then can some 1 please tell me where to locate him..so i can try..and see how hard he is...or is some1 has a website thats tells me to locate him..and ect......that new guy thats uz talkin bout..is news to me...

You can't fight Penance unless you've defeated every dark aeon in the game, if you do manage to then there should be a new location added on your map (The one accessible from the airship), I haven't actually fought Penance yet as such because I only just managed to defeat dark Yojimbo but I heard he's limited to only dealing 9,999 to each character in a move unlike the other dark aeons (minus Valefor) who can deal 99,999 damage in a move.
