well...i think an important issue is "toughness"....in the game characters can take multiple bullets like nothing, does that carry over or are we assuming they are real people just with really cool clothes and hair?

Well personally I think Cid could take this as well he's naturally quite a fast character.....and thats all that matters in this fight whos turn would come first....and I thik Cid would clinch this one. So yeah Cid.

Well if you wanna use guns, i'd stick with Vincent. For one, it's not part of my body so if i lose the gun, i'm not SCREWED, and for two...just...Vincent kicks ass.

i vote for Red since he's a lion. Lion vs Human, obvious outcome. Vincent is undead so he'd have an advantage too if we want to go by traditional undead attributes.

come on, Cid is the toughest (playable) character! Barret might give him a run for his money tho, but Cid is too quick for him.

Although if 'ol Sephiroth was added to the fray, then i think there'd be a very different result (same can be said for Heidegger :D)

Well we know Barret can take bullets (a #$%! load of them too):cool: from that scene with Dyne (When he goes suicidal, and jumps off the cliff). This may sound crazy, but Cloud could probably block bullets, with that big ass sword of his too (noooo You think?!?). It's not really the matter of who has the guns. It matters Who has the broad strength, the knowledge, and the attitude (Something like that). In our world, we think guns kill a person with one shot (which they probably do:erm: ), but in the Final Fantasy world it can be very different.Cait Sith can just hide behind that mog, because the Mog doesn't feel any pain when being shot at(It's not real). There is a lot of things they can do, but out of the whole game, who is the best fighter? By the way, can you guys see my sig?? Or is there an x going across the screen?

As for conversation, if were going to take things literally then still Cid, he can jump high...VERY high. So those bullets are going to have a hard time hitting him.

if we arent going to take into account the fact that Vincent is undead then its really silly to consider the superhuman attributes of the other characters such as taking bullets or jumping.

any character can take as much bullets as they want if their hp is high and besides, when u get shot your not really getting filled with bullets, its just the way that enemie attacks visually, its still just a non-elemental attack.

ultimately though if a character was going to have an advantage taking bullets i'd put it to cat sith (being that he is a robot controlled from elsewhere) and Vincent (being that he is undead)

dodging the bullets i'd give my point to nanaki again.

just thought of something... the main character always prevails over the bad situation or life/death struggle. in this case, Cloud, the main character, must be the winner based on traditional FF values.

If you rule out any use of magic or materia or mako and everyone is just normal/human, even Vincent, then Vincent has the upperhand with secret Turkish techniques that got lost through time...i'd go for Cloud but he didn't even make it to SOLDIER First Class...Cid and RedXIII would be close seconds..(Cid is older and Nanaki's just an animal without weapon-handling thumbs..and don't say claws cause he has his own and any modifications that can be made won't make a bit of difference against Cid's longer reach..ooh..Long Reach..what an ability neh?)

Well if you wanna go by looks, I would go with Barret cause he is built and has a mean look.

I think I'll stick with Cloud. He does have a big sword and a cool signature move at the end. Even if he didn't make it to Soldier...I'll stick with him. Hmmm...Maybe Zack coulda done better...

Come one, its so obvious, if you exclude Sephiroth then the only clear choice is cloud, of course he can block bullets with his big ass sword, and he is very quick with his sword as shown in the AC trailer, so cloud would hand them all their own asses!!!!
