Thanks El Cid, Barber is one of my favorite American composers and the Adagio For Strings is one of the most beautiful, heart-rending pieces of music ever written ranking alongside the Adagietto from Mahler's 5th Symphony for pure ethereal beauty in musical form.

Oh yay! I've been in love with the Adagio For Strings ever since I heard it while playing Homeworld many years ago. And this version is longer, plus there's other stuff! Never gotten a chance to listen to any more of Barber's music; I'm definitely getting this! Thanks very much, El Cid. :D
