.Hack//SIGN probably has the best storyline to it in my opinion. What do you think??

unbelievable, game was alright, dont understand how they could make a story out of it, but it's for selective audiences, at the very least it's loose anime, respectable..

In my opinion, let's just say it was a fun series.

Liked the games but have not beat the first one yet.

I like the manga best of all. It's called .hack//Legend of the Twilight if anyone cares.

yeah, I thought it was awesome. The only thing is I missed an episode and became confused. So much happens in an episode!

I've watched it a few time and think it's great. Got the soundtrack when it was posted here. Have the first game and haven't beaten it yet. Anyway, just how big is project .hack... Anime, manga, game, OAV, etc. how much more is there to come out of this?

The first game was boring and since the sequels are basically the same thing there boring. The anime is great, but also confusing at the same time.

I agree with lightning mage, The manga is superb. I enjoy the anime though, even if Balmung was only present for about three minutes. :notgood:

I liked this show, the only thing that i disliked is that there wasn't too much action. It may have been cooler if they had fit some more in. It was just annoying, kinda, to wait a week for a new episode and then there is just talk. The story was fairly good, if you didn't miss any episodes that is, and so i stuck with it still.

This one with Kite and the gang may have more action in it then the others did, more traveling in dungeons.

Ya my friend stopped watching, because there was too much story, and not enough action. I think .Hack has overall the best music, storyline, and character plot, in all the Anime.

I think either you like it or you don't. Thats it. All depends on the person actually.

I personally enjoyed the .hack series. The games and the anime/manga ALL tie in one way or another because it all has to do with 'The World'.

But as for .hack//SIGN, i've been getting the DVD's one by one as I can afford them. I have 4 DVDs so far. And I also have all of the .hack games on PS2 and just beat part 4 like last night. But I still need to finish watching .hack//Liminality.

The plot in hack//SIGN is so deep it gets you really involved with the characters. Thats gotta be the main thing I like about it.

I have yet to play the games but I have read the first 2 mangas.

They sucked

I have yet to play the games but I have read the first 2 mangas.

They sucked, maybe this is because I havent played the games?

I've sen a few good episodes of .Hack onlyproblem is that i never seem to stay up late enough to watch the next episode the following day. The last episode I saw was "Wanted" and it was really good n then the next day I ended up falling asleep when I really wanted to see "Captured" so if neone has seen it could they tell me if itz worth taking the time to download.

i think the anime is great, it is a very unique anime, and the music & character development is really cool. I've seen the entire .hack//sign series,(with tsukasa) and am halfway through .hack//dusk (legend of the twiglight bracelet) **with Kite, and have seen some of the first game .hack//infection

From the top, there's the tv show .Hack//SIGN

the games (.Hack//Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, and Quarantine)

the companion OVA to the games called .Hack//Liminality

and then the follow-up anime/manga .Hack//Dusk (Also called Legend of the Twilight Bracelet or Legend of the Twilight in the US.)

I enjoyed the whole .Hack project. It had an outstanding creative team.

For anyone who cares, the music for SIGN was composed by Yuki Kajiura, who also did the music for Noir and Aquarian Age. Be sure to check out those soundtracks.

.hack has a nice storyline, but to me, the story moves a little to slow
