Whoever did Cloud in Kingdom Hearts should have to, because that's how he will forever sound in my head. Also, I don't think it would take that much money to actually get Mr. T to do the voice of Barret, that's how I always thought he would sound like. Who should do Sephiroth? What do you guys think?

However, a real cast I'd have Johnny Depp doing something...either Tseng, Vincent, or Sephiroth for sure.

the problem with an english voice cast is that there are no guys in north america able to pull off sephiroth the way he was MEANT to sound. This is all my opinion of course, but anyone interested in anime knows about the whole "femmy" male lead voice. It's just quiet and soft enough to sound "icy" but not too girlish to belittle the character, and when they get angry it can be pretty chilling.

This, imho, is something only Japanese men can achieve in voice acting, and thus yanks wont be able to voice sephiroth properly.

the rest of the cast could be done though

Cloud - Kenneth Branagh (just think about it)
Barret - Mr. T (or possibly the guy who did Jet in the CB dub)
Tifa - Meg Ryan
Cid - Ed Harris
Vincent - Viggo Mortenson

the rest of the cast is a toss up

Cid=Denis Leary. If you don't see that screw you.

I can definitely see Denis Leary as Cid, that's almost as perfect as Mr. T for Barret. No other person could ever do Barret right. Vincent, though... hmm... I've never really thought of that one.

honestly though, Viggo Mortenson for Vincent. He has such a sort of hoarse, scraggly voice that i always pictured vincent having due to his persona, and that scarf in front of his face.

Also, Mortenson is very articulate as anyone who has seen interviews with him can attest to. Vincent is a sort of gentleman and that would work out well.

Barret- Mr.T ( I pity the fool that don't agree!! )
Cid- Robert Danero
Tifa- Pamela Anderson :)
RedXIII(Nanaki)- Voice of Scooby Doo

Finding a good voice actor for Sephiroth will be very hard though.

Cloud's voice in Kingdom Hearts was good, but I sure hope that Sephiroth doesn't get voiced by the N'Sync member. That would be terrible.....

Red XIII - I can see him with a mild british accent or or maybe an indian.

Sephiroth - Voice actor for Heero Yuy (gundam wing) would be perfect in my opinion

RedXIII with the voice Scooby-Doo would be pretty damn funny huh? You know who should be the voice of Sephiroth?!!?! That guy from Phone Booth. That guy who was shooting and threatening that guy in the booth that is from 24 on FOX. I don't remember his name.

Sephiroth's voice could be done by David Lucas(voice of Spike on Cowboy Bebop). Cloud's voice could be done by Colin Farrell or the guy from Kingdom Hearts. Barrett could be done by Mr.T or Michael Clarke Duncan. Vincent.... that is a tough one. Tifa could be done by Angelina Jolie. Aeris could be done by Halle Berry. That's my opinion. But does it really matter, cuz its still gonna be like the coolest movie ever.

I'd much rather a subtitled version than some crappy dub. :B But, when it comes to Japanese games/anime/movies, I always do. So hopefully it will be an option when it is released over here. :D

I would like Linda Cardellini (Lindsay in Freak & Geeks <3) to play Tifa. I don't know why. But she rocks. And maybe Tara Strong for Yuffie. I mean, she's Rikku in FFX, and Bubbles in Powerpuff Girls. So, she's clearly cool beyond belief. Mr. T would suit Barret. Only problem is, he only makes religious action movies these days. (o_O). Otherwise, eh, I dunno. preferably proper voice actors. :/

I'm against Mr T as Barret, instead I think John Goodman would be a perfect Barret, if you don't believe me just watch "The Big Lebowski".

And Dennis Leary would be a perfect Cid.

Denis Leary for Cid sounds about right, cuz Denis Leary has a tendency to cuss alot like Cid

Red would definatly work with him. the voice actor for Duo, by the way, was Phil Lamarr, who also did the voice of Vamp in metal gear solid 2.

Red XIII must be in it because hes there 200 years later and the movie is set only 2 years after ffVII. Cid has to be in it too because there is a Cid in every final fantasy and advent children is definitly a final fantasy and no one can replace the cid from ffVII within the same world. And aeris is definitly in it but only in flashbacks, there will be a flashback including aeris's death along with her burial(according to my sources she will be killed in it, but she is definitly getting buried because ive already seen that part of the movie in a trailer and its also in japanese magazine scans). another good reason that those characters will be in the movie is that even though there are no shots of them, square has already officially announced that they are NOT finshed creating all the characters for the movie yet! ok, im done now

i liked all the voices from kingdom hearts except for sephiroth, how can they pick a guy from a boy band to do the most evil villan square has created.i think the voice of ansem (from kingdom hearts) should do sephiroth.robert deniro should do vincent and cid should be..... i dont know. barrett should be the guy from ludacris. i dont know if any of those people would do the voices but thats how id like them to be.

I think Billy crudup would be good for someone... he has a nice voice. The dunpeal from vampire hunter D should be vincent, and Mr T all the way for barret!!! I can Care less for Vin diesal, but he has one of those low raspy kinda voices. I think Keifer would be good for Sephiroth, he can be creepy when he wants.

Either way, I just want the movie!!!!
