I also liked Doujima from Witch Hunter Robin, especially during the later episodes. And the smoking guy in later episodes as well... Forgotten his name. I'm not that great at remembering names of characters from animes.

And from Naruto, I like Kakashi, Jiraiya, Lee (after reading the last chapter of the manga, he is my all time favouritest manga character in the world), Temari and Hinata. <3 Temari and Hinata.

Yep. It continues where the anime TV series of FF Unlimited left off, as the show was canceled halfway through it's story arc. However, it's not available in English, and as far as I know there are no plans as of yet to release it in the US, yet.

Mind you, with AD Vision now releasing manga as well as anime I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they picked it up as well to tie in with their release of the anime version.

wow its a shame compare to ya i don't kno a damn thing about anime or manga even thou i took 5 years of my life in loving anime and manga *and i don't buy tapes i recorded anything anime or manga* i got like 35 tapes of each dragon ball and also a few favorites outlaw star, akira, ghost in the shell, redhawk and a few more which i can't name for right now and also the whole collection of db dbz dbgt action figures and that about it

I actually have so much anime here that I've had to co-locate it. And both locations are full to bursting again. I mostly buy region 0 imports these days, so I don't spend as much, but I also get more. For example, I recently got the first season of Initial D (all 26 episodes) for the same price as ONE of the domestic Toyopop DVDs. It has better translated subs too.

Cartoon Network, Ha! I know what good anime is when I see it! I go beyond my research through anime. Start out at Suncoast Motion picture company. They have a great anime selection even thoughs that havn't been released in America.

Suncoast is a good source for people starting out. Lots of good stuff and the people there usually know what's best, in my experience.

Totally! I've been shopping at Suncoast for about 6 years now! There's also an electronic I have where I live, it's called Frys Electronics. They've got a huge selection of anime as well!

Hmmm, I guess my top 5 would be:

1. Chii: I'm a bit obsessed with her. Merl claims she reminds him of me- not sure how to take that.

2. Belldandy: I used to collect little Belldandy keychains and stickers all the time. I don't so much anymore, but I still love both her and Ah! Megumi Sama

3. Vash: I've got a silly fangirl type crush on him. Maybe it's cause he's the world's nicest badass, maybe it's cause I like my men with a few scars. Who knows, highlander?

4. Xellgadis: I still remember watching the beginning on Slayers and being absolutely enraptured by his eyes. I was a bit shocked when I saw the true form of the character I'd developed a crush on at first, but he's even sexier that way.

5. Minimay: I'm not sure if I'm a bigger fan of the love story or of her, but I like her bunches all the same.

Noteworthy things- I really, really adore Momo and Kiley, but couldn't include them since there's no Peach Girl anime.

Also, I'm extremely fond of Julia from Cowboy Bebop. I'm not sure why. They never get too indepth with her character.

Crest/Banner of the stars is a really good show that's easily worth checking out. Just beware the dubbed version. It's awful, particularly in the first season, Crest of the Stars.

Finally an Asuka fan who actually like's Rei! Rei was my favorite from Eva because I like the blue hair on anime characters! I like Misato because her hair look's Navy blue, not purple!

I pretty much hated most of the characters in Evangelion. The only ones I really liked were Gendo Ikari and Kaji.

The rest were just too whiny for me.

I thought Kaji was stupid. I did like Gendo though because he made my favorite character;Rei!

I thought Asuka was a bitch though. If she's going to act like a slut, she can't be slapping guys around!

Rei never ever whined; whenever she was told what to do, she would do it without any questions asked. That is the complete opposite of whining.

Now Shinji lied because he did have some problems. I don't know if you've seen enough of Evangelion to know, but you find out that all of the character have phsyciological problems and needed phsycology big time. I actually liked Shinji and thought he was cute! I really felt bad for him because of how his father treated him. Believe it or not, but that's how people become whinners, is if there parents neglect the kids like that. If the child is neglected, than the kid grows up thinking life is terrible. That's why I feel sorry for Shinji

As for Misato, she did good by forgeting about her past as much as possible, and she was as happy as she can be! That's very strong!

So not all of the characters whined, but just some of them. You really have to see all of Evangeliong at least twice to understand.

Let me rephrase what I said a bit then. Aside from the ones I mentioned (and Misato, whom I had forgotten momentarily, but could psychoanalyze for hours.) the rest were either whiny or inexcusably weak minded.

Rei is a bit of an exception due the nature of the character's origin, but I still find her personality more than a little creepy.

That's what alot of people say about Rei. But I really love her so much! She's my favorite all time Evangelion character!

bebop i an awesome anime. they have great characters

bebop and evangelion are two of the best animes out there. they are really well made. Jet is the only main character in bebop that i dont really care for. rei,asuka, and misato are some of the best characters in eva. shinji is annoying and i dont really have a huge opinion on the others. theyre ok i guess

Another really good show with awesome characters would be Maho Tsukai Tai (Magic Users Club).

Anyone ever seen that? If you haven't, you would be well advised to not admit it. It's one of the few things I've seen that's actually funnier than Dragon Half.

My favourite character is from Dragonball Z, Tien. Since Dragonball he's been my favourite, he's got some of the best moves, and style of fighting, and even though he's not the strongest, he's always there to do what he can, and gives everything he's got, so to me the best anime character there is. I always get laughed at though, cause he's not the strongest, but I don't care, he's the greatest to me.

Mine is still Son Goku from Saiyuki...but a close second is Fanta from Faeries' Landing.

My favorite character is Sailor Moon. I have been a huge fan of Sailor Moon since 1995 and love both the Japanese version and the American version, but the Japanese version is my favorite. I love the anime, manga and live action version. I think that Mamoru and Usagi make the best couple. I think that Darien and Serena make the best couple. Usagi and Mamoru are my favorite couple and Serena and Darien are my favorite couple. I am a lot like Usagi. Usagi is my favorite character ever! I love Mamoru.
