Maybe he doesn't have the rights to it yet. I know that a lot of the great scores that have been released in recent years (from the 70's & 80's) took so long because of issues with procuring the rights. Now that the Internet has made things so much more accessible and therefore strengthened the collector's market, people are having an easier time getting rights to release stuff. Hopefully that will be the case with this - it just takes time often. If "they" (whomever "they" is) were smart they'd release a CD for it now and hope to piggyback on the new Pompeii film release.

Huh. Well on the one hand that would be good news because that's a major hurdle or of the way, but if he's got them and hasn't done anything with it, then who knows. Maybe he's got the rights but they're isn't a salvageable copy of the recordings? Maybe he hates it?

I sent an email to him through his website a few years ago telling him how much i liked his work and that i was wondering if he was ever planning on releasing the score for Nate & Hayes. I never heard back from anyone but about 8 to 12 months later the Nate & Hayes score actually came out, hahaha! I'm sure it was coincidence but it definitely raised my eyebrows. I thought to myself, "he got my email!" Hahaha. Maybe you should try it for this one and see if it works for you/us! :-)
