I have collection about 50 of Herrmann's scores from 1933 to 1976. These are the complete scores scanned from microfilm.

Included are Silent Noon, Citizen Kane, The Devil And Daniel Webster, The Magnificent Ambersons, For The Fallen, Jane Eyre, Hangover Square, Anna And The King Of Siam, The Ghost and Mrs Muir, Five Fingers, On Dangerous Ground, The Day The Earth Stood Still, The Snows of Kilimanjaro, Beneath the 12-Mile Reef, White Witch Doctor, Garden of Evil, Prince of Players, The Egyptian, The Kentuckian, The Trouble With Harry, The Man Who Knew Too Much, The Wrong Man, Williamsburg, 7th Voyage of Sinbad, The Naked and the Dead, Vertigo, Blue Denim, Journey to the Center of the Earth, North By Northwest, Psycho, The Three Worlds of Gulliver, Cape Fear, Mysterious Island, Jason and the Argonauts, Marnie, Echoes for String Quartet, Fahrenheit 451, Torn Curtain, The Bride Wore Black, Battle Of Neretva, The Night Digger, Endless Night, Sisters, Obsession, and Taxi Driver. There are also some of his Twilight Zone scores and a few various piano reductions.

The file is just under 2gb so it's hard to find a free solution. I'm trying WeTransfer, I'll post the link once I have it.

I tried We Transfer but it failed about 30 times to upload it completely. There is a 20Gb per day limit for dropbox. When my account is back to normal in a few days, I'll share individual links I guess. Let me know what you want and I'll make sure to get it to you.

Not having any knowledge of the original source of these, I believe they likely came from UC Santa Barbara where a number of composers, including Herrmann, have collections. I have no clue how someone got .pdfs of the microfilm but it's an incredible find. Hopefully someone in the future can obtain other scores from UCSB.

UCLA has quite a few film scores, both conductors scores and composer sketches, but they do not permit computers, cameras, etc in the library. You have to sit there for hours making copies by hand!

PM bedeutet "personal message". Dieses feature wird gew�hnlich erst freigeschaltet, wenn Du ein paar Beitr�ge geschrieben hast (egal in welchem thread, und egal, was du schreibst). Ich glaube ca. 5 Beitr�ge reichen schon, am besten in verschiedenen threads, weil mehrere Antworten in einem thread nur als 1 Beitrag gez�hlt werden!

Wenn Du dann jemandem eine "p.m." senden willst, musst Du mit der linken Maus-Taste auf den namen klicken. Dort ist das Brief-Symbol zu erkennen, womit sich ein Fenster f�r eine "Private Message" �ffnen l�sst!

Viel Gl�ck, und viele Gr��e, ebenfalls aus Deutschland, und ebenfalls von einem gro�en Bernard Herrmann fan!! :)

Ja, Shattner ist cool, bin mit Enterprise aufgewachsen und absoluter boston legal fan. ich bin trotzdem aus dem ernsten Lager und gerade an einem St�ck, in dem es um vertigo und/oder psycho gehen soll. Aber herrman finde ich schon lange gut. jetzt bin ich richtig auf den geschmack gekommen. Ich hab schon eine full score von Vertigo und da kann man sehr viel lernen �ber Instrumentation und �konomie vor allem. M�glicherweise kennen wir uns sogar? Das w�re lustig oder vielleicht auch nicht :-) Jetzt versuche ich mal mein Gl�ck... K�nnte man die partituren denn auch kaufen?

Check google or sheeto if you just want just a few. It would be a lot of work to upload each individually when they are available together.
