just want to find out how many typos there are in ff7, i already know a few, like when you have command counter and you get it at the beginning of a battle, it will say "cought by surprise", instead of "caught by surprise"

Not So Much A typo But An Interesting Kinda Jap-Lishy Thing Is When you Mime At The Start Of A Battle: "Cloud made A Useless Imitation" Maybe He Was Drinkin A Pepsi?

Some Playstation typos were corrected in the PC version. Some things were also changed.

Here are a couple that I know of:

Reno: "No one get in the way of Reno and the Turks!" (I know it's a pluralization problem. The "s" was missing from either "get" or "Turks," but I'm not entirely sure which.)

In the battle arena: "Keep going? Off course!"

Try the German version when you're done with the English one. There are lots and lots and lots and lots more. It's terrible. Someone wasn't doing their job at all.

ive played through the game a few times and once recently after about 3 years since the last time and MY GOD are there alot of mistakes...not only that, the translation in general is so poor it makes it painful to read. It's a damn good thing the story is incredible, or it wouldnt be worth slogging through the garbled text!

Sadly, our German PC version is missing the first CD. Back then I decided this was reason enough to buy the English version... I so can't understand that some people complain about the English translation. o_O

PS: You don't have to understand German in order to recognize the mistakes. Ask my sister for details.
