This album has 236 tracks with audio taken from the game, while the quality is good, it's really nothing special as it comes equipped with sound effects, to make a long story short, it's all of the cut scenes without the video to accompany it.

The only thing that makes this soundtrack worth anything is the various voices that happen within the gameplay (e.g. Snake's Codec and Star Fox Chats)

Isn't that what a movie soundtrack is? Still music though

By it's core, yes, but what we have here isn't a sound collection of instrumental music but rather, a library of audio clips with all of the crowd cheers, pitter pats of footsteps, rustling of clothing and even character moans and groans that this album would be much better without, personally, that's the way I like my music, but to each their own.

I don't think it's possible to have the cut scene music without the extra noise, that's what I was really hoping for, in any case, if someone was to be a real fan of the game, this might come in handy, but otherwise, to an average casual listener, this isn't for them.

download foobar2000 and flac codec here FLAC - download (http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html)
install both then right click the songs you want to convert in foobar to mp3 and choose "convert" then "....". Click output format and choose Mp3 LAME and click edit to choose quality of mp3 which you should slide to the very right for best. Now when foobar asks you to locate the flac.exe file just locate it in the install directy of the flac plugin you installed earlier it should be in bin folder.

Alternatively you can install dbpower amp but you'll have to find it somewhere if you want it for free. If you still have problems just let me know
