AMAZING! I was just talking about this score over on the "Star Trek" thread just the other day. The scores on Disc 1 were released (without all the extras) back in the 70's by a company here in LA, by a man named Harry Friedenberg, in record form. They were a big hit at the scifi conventions, and I remember Harry telling me that (if I remember correctly) his profits on this one album was somewhere in the neighborhood of $80,000 (NICE neighborhood! :) )

Harry was also the fellow who brought out the bootleg record "Star Trek Bloopers"! He paid a fellow for a master vocal tape, that this person dug out of a trash dumpster over at Paramount, and it was the master recordings of the last TOS show, all the talking without music or SFX, and was thrown away by the studios! Shortly after that, the studio started locking up the dumpsters after hours, but that didn't stop ME! :) I found alot of really great stuff during the day, when they were UNLOCKED! Hehehehe
