Greetings, once again, my great VGM friends! :) Today, I bring to you a OST that is absolutely great. Composed by Kumi Tanioka. You know? For her first solo gig, this really isn't bad...AT ALL. It's actually really really good. But, after all, this is Kumi Tanioka we're talking about here so...that's to be expected. ;) Really brilliant compositions to be heard from this Album! ;) I really thought that GungHo would've never released an OST to this great game at all. But long and behold, I was wrong. I really enjoy the sound of Ragnarok Odyssey and I'm very sure that you, fellow Shriners, will too. ;) So, now that, that's out of the way, here is the OST to...Ragnarok Odyssey, do enjoy. :)

Thank you for the share. I enjoy her work from FFXI and the FFCC series and was happy to hear that she landed this project. Sure, I wish that she still composed for Square Enix but I'm just glad that she is still making great music. Thanks again Qqqqqqwe! :)

I'll say my opinion on this soundtrack.

I am not trained in music, my education is juridical, but still, I studied a bit of music theory and music history when learning violin at a conservatory.

Anyway, I like this composer because his songs always have a medieval tone of Celtic origin, but of expression on grounds of Renaissance scholarship. That is, the sound of the harp, the accordion and Celtic flute always stand out in songs that remind medieval songs. It all blended into orientality inherent cultural background of the composer.

Both in FFCC like in RO, what I could find that Kumi Tanioka can merge Celtic culture with Japanese culture, resulting in very pleasant music.

Obviously I have to point out that many of the songs of RO remind me MH, especially the more frantic ones.

Well, I liked, so much. And, recomend to all the ones who like good music. Enjoy the gift of our friend, Qqqqqqwe!

hmm? ...Well, to tell you the truth, Orie, it's been awhile since I've listed to FFCC. So...I can't really tell you that it resembles FFCC or not.
