First post so may as well go ahead and say thank you to all the people here who spend so much time spreading great gaming music around.
Now onto Dust: An Elysian Tale
Very new game obviously but searched the Shrine and Google and haven't seen anything indicating that a gamerip or something is in progress. Dust has a beautiful soundtrack that I'm sure many people here would appreciate. So anyone know if anything is in progress? I'm sure its just a matter of time but I get eager for new soundtracks like this and nothing had been posted yet.

I second this as well.

Listening to the music(and the entire look and feel of the game) while playing the trial of it gave me a feeling of nostalgia for some reason.

I'm now wishing I had some MS points to get it, because I'm starting to think that this game is going to be one of those types I will hold dear to my heart

I'm gonna do what I can to share it on here to download, but obviously I will leave a buy link so for those who can and want to support the little musician(s.. two of us) for the Dust AET soundtrack, they can buy it from us. As a big lover of VG Music though, we don't want people to miss out or whatever because they can't afford it, so the good faith link should hopefully go up at some point, maybe one of you will be able to help me with that. I'll update this thread when I need a hand with that.

I would definitely love to support this soundtrack by purchasing it. I can't count how many soundtracks I would have bought if they were available through more ways than importing, actually I would probably be broke >.<

I'll buy it the day it comes out, I thoroughly enjoyed nearly the whole soundtrack, sans a few tracks at the very end of the game, which were mood-appropriate but I thought could have been subtler lol. But oh my...you (I mean HyperDuck as a whole of course lol) really did a fantastic job. Looking forward to release!

Any news on the soundtrack?

Currently getting it mastered by a very capable mastering engineer. So it will be a while. I can say that there will be about 46 or 47 tracks in total though. Lots of hearing to be heard! Will update once I've something more to show. We're getting there though, the hard part is over.

little preview for you guys. We've got all the masters back and its about 46.. or 47.. tracks! And its approx 110 minutes in length for the entire soundtrack. This track is a glitch hop track and most out of character within Dust, but I think that's why I love it. (also I love glitch hop, wish I had have had more time to work on this one, but I would have spend forever and never finished it) It plays when you find the HyperDucks and they are both sent to the sanctuary to DJ amongst all the friends from other indie games you find.

Sweet, 46 or so tracks, 110 minutes, sounds like it will definitely be worth the wait.

On further calculation and a little slimming of tracks we're not going to put in (ambiences we don't think anybody would want to hear) and I think we will be at a lower number of tracks, 37 but with a total of 107 minutes (my pro addition skills are to thank for the previous estimate, sorry!)

Will announce a release date and pre-order very soon :)

I can't afford to buy it, but I'm glad to see that it's released.

And the track, Vintage Cirromon Caverns. I loved hearing that track after playing the trial version and hearing it in the trailer on youtube. It's shame it was never used in the game, because it would've been fitting for this game since it takes me back to the sega saturn days for some reason.

So, like the poster above me, i just wanted to state how awesome that song is, I'm buying the soundtrack pretty much on the power of that track alone XD

And well, I actually felt a bit heartbroken at first when I browsed trough the tracks and wasn't finding it, and even the vintage cirromon caverns didn't sound quite like the trailer one at first... But THEN I saw how it was actually part of the entire song... Man, I honestly shouted and whooped with joy when I heard the last part. All this just to say that Hyperduck soundworks rock! and thank you so much for this great, great soundtrack! ^^

We had a few extremely cheap sales on over Christmas for the soundtrack to let those who couldn't make the �5 leap chow down on some audio lovin ala Dust (what the hell am i typing!? ANYway..) I'll post in here next time we're doing a sale on it if you like! If you really can't afford it at all just email me at [email protected] and I'll throw you a new year code. We'd be happier just keeping it from being torrented if we can, we're not big shot earning rockstars, so it's kinda important to our income to sell it hehe.
