Sony Classical released in Europe some of the US Rhino releases. As far as I know, they released North by Northwest and Poltergeist. Both are exactly the same as the Rhino release.

In case somebody is interested,

The Ryko release had the source music placed in correct order, so it is interpolatred with the Herrmann score.
Ihe intrada release (Posted by Wildwood) has the source music on the bonus track secction plus one Herrmann alternate track not included on Ryko.

That's an original recording just an alternate take, if you listen to the end you can even hear Bernard Herrmann yelling as well as the producer in the booth talking.

Bingo! 5 years ago I'd never have thought of getting movie scores such as these with high sound quality in a compressed format would have been possible. The last few days for me have been like Christmas time for a little kid. Whenever I have a recollection of any motion picture,the first thing that enters my mind is it's sound score.

In a horrifiying second of mindless carelessness,I wiped out most of my top 50 movie scores with a single tap of the enter key of my keyboard. The Intrada version of one of the greatest movie scores of all time went with the rest of them.

Thanks, great score, far from my favourite Hitchcock movie but everybody involved is on top form and it's extremely watchable. I admire Cary Grant's performance more and more, but much prefer the James Stewart Hitchcock's. Perhaps Grant's superb comic abilities sometimes undermine the dramatic elements, even with a master like Herrmann at the baton.
