If you have ever read his books you will know what real fantasy fiction is all about.

If you are a fan of the Riftwar, Serpantwar sage, and other books he has written, please reply here!

And also say what your fave book in the series is, Mine is the whole serpantwar saga.

Oh and whos your fave char? Mines Thomas, Young Knight Apprentice of Crydee, Warlord of Elvandar..

You sir, bring shame upon true Feist fans everywhere.

How can you not even know how to spell the name of your favourite character... when half of Magician is written about him? It's Tomas, not Thomas :p

That said, they are indeed a mighty set of books - bettered only by Tolkien himself. Sure, Feist liberally borrowed from the master, like so many others - but he did it well. When reading his universe, I feel that Middle Earth would fit into Feist's multiverse quite easily.

My favourite book is Magician - original, and still the best, though the Serpentwar Saga has its moments. And the Prince Arutha books - Silverthorn, and A Darkness at Sethanon, feel like a proper down to earth fantasy.

Favourite character has to be, of course, Milamber... also known as Pug of Crydee, Great One of the Tsuranuanni, a Magician of the Greater Path, and heir to Macros the Black.

My favourite book/s would be Daughter of the Empire, Servant of the Empire and Mistress of the Empire.

Favourite character, Mara of the Acoma. She's just always got it together.

Of course, that series is a collaboration with Janny Wurts, if you are asking me which of his solo written books, I'd say Magician.
