Wow! This is excellent and very rare stuff!
I was not aware that a privately pressed LP with Stu Phillip's (and of course Kaproff and Spence) funky scoring
for the THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN live TV Series exists.
I always thought that this is some of Stu's best TV scoring although he's best known for his contribution
to the BATTLESTAR GALACTICA TV Series - and this music we get on CD via the Soundtrack Speciality labels (besides the OOP KNIGHT RIDER CD).
But of his music for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN live TV Series I have not much hope that a commercial CD release will ever happen ...

Amanda - I'm a new kid in town and after getting blown away on the Star Trek and Galactica threads, you pull this gem out of your den. I've been a sci-fi soundtrack collector since I got Star Wars on vinyl in Summer 1977. I can't tell you what your Joe Harnell posts of the Bionic Woman and 70s Incredible Hulk have meant to me. Lost chapters of my childhood, memories blocked after years of multiple long term traumas returning in widescreen Technicolor. I had no idea this existed in any form - but bless you for posting it!

It's not a lp promo, just a well-made fan-rip. Like Talent, I, too got this some time ago from FRAYKERbreaks run by Fraykers Revenge who sourced the tracks from beta/vhs tapes and also created the customized covers. Note the Fraykers Revenge logo.

Update

So for those that downloaded the orginal frayerbreaks version, the "bonus tracks" in this release are actually tracks 1-38. Track 39 is a merged version of the previous frayerbreaks tracks into one file.

So for anyone listening to the "Bar Club" track from the frayerbreaks release (or track 39 - "Spider-man 77-79 Suite" at 11:58 in the so-called new release), I've heard this track play before in the "Short Fuze" Columbo episode:

I'm pretty sure this is a stock music track. If anyone knows the title and composer, please let me know!
