i'm sorry if this is a repeat, but what mistakes/contradictions have you found in final fantasy vii? they don't really have to be significant.

i found a couple

-Aeris said that Tseng and here were childhood friends, but it shows him as an adult during a flashback when aeris was 5 when the Shin-Ra were after her.

-when sephiroth kills aeris there are certain shots of him with black gloves on, and seconds later, no gloves.

argh. i know theres more, but i can't think of them off the top of my head @.@

Vincent's age remember. He was the exact same age BEFORE Sephiroth was born. And now he still is. He should've aged just like Sephiroth, except he didn't. :: mumbles :: all thanks to Hojo.

Wasnt the guy trying to get Aeris Reeve, cuz then it could have happened...

And Vincent isnt really human anymore so we cant blame them there, and Sephiroth has been made older by hojo through al those strange experiments by him...

Vincent hasn't aged as Hojo experimented on him and he's been in like almost suspended animation for years waiting to be woken up kinda, also the part when you go back into the church and Aeris appears to you sometimes in two separate places i think it was Squaresoft itself that addmitted that was a mistake cause apparantly on da japanese version of FF7 u can bring Aeris back to life by finding an old man who is also revealed to be an ancient somewhere in Midgar he reveals that he can ressurect ancients, you take him to da place where Aeris is in da water and he ressurect her, her ghost appears above da water and i'm not sure but i thinkher body floats up or summin like dat. :lol

Aeris can not be revived...

aeriscloud
02-17-2004, 07:59 PM
Yeah! I agree. Aeris can't be revived since it seems to be just rumors. If she was able to be revive, I think I would had beaten the whole game in less than 2 days.
I mean, I've search the whole web and even try some of those rumors to see if its possible...and its not. Even try the underwater materia but Mr.Fish won't let me through..:notgood:

VINCENTS AGE ERROR

The manual states the age of Vincent Valentine as 27. However, remember how Vincent had previously worked for the Turks before Sephiroth was born?

We can safely assume Sephiroth must be at least 21 years old. If Sephiroth was born twenty one years ago... then Vincent must have been six years old during that time, and hence way too young to be a Turk. So, how is this possible?

The human mother of Sephiroth was a scientist named Lucrecia - Vincent's love. She was seduced by Professor Hojo and impregnated with Sephiroth. Vincent vehemently opposed this plan, but was sadly 'disposed' of by Professor Hojo. The professor 'scientificically altered' the ex-Turk and 'put him to sleep'. It is possible this form of 'sleep' is a form of suspended animation. As Vincent 'slept' in his coffin, the years would pass by until that fateful day Cloud intruded into the Shinra Mansion. When Vincent at last re-emerged from his coffin, he was still the same age as when he was first entered.

there it is sloved

And Sephiroth has aged quicker because of Hojo too I heard.

True??

Does Sephiroth age at all?

I mean being born from jenova, and having high levels of Mako pumped into him...

Hey has anybody seen that cave outside of the City of ancients it's next to the big shell that Cloud jumps up to go to the snow plains, it's on a sort of ledge problem is it won't let you climb up what was that for?

well, i think that it was maybe connected to some sort of sidequest, aborted by square, either that, or it contained some of the materia that was never released in the game. theres also a vine leading up to the cave, but its not accessible.

When Aerith gets set afloat on to the water, outside the altar, in the Forgotten Capital (Where she died) Cloud seems to be floating on the water, but Aerith falls, and as she goes down you see the diameter of the pond. So the mistake is that in reality Cloud would of fell into the water.

That is a pretty cool site. Anyways, THERE IS A WAY TO GET AERIS BACK but I have never done it. It is called a GAMESHARK!!! There is also a way to have Sephiroth in your party as well. How do you think they show all of Aeris' limit Breaks in the Walkthrough? You Think they really spent over 30-40 hours leveling her up so they could show you that? I don't think so. I remember a screw up in the game but I can't remember what it is now. Oh well.

Well as for the game shark to bring Aeris back I have one and tried it out and it works, the Aeris revival code works but as for Sephiroth being in your party I 've haven't found a GS code for that and I am still looking. The ppl at the GS company got some of the codes screwed up which causes either glintches in the game, or croupetted file which will and I am only gonna say this ONCE only!! Some codes will croupt your game and you'd have to buy another FFVII game to get it working again. If you come across those codes spread the word so ppl will know which codes work and don't.

LoneWolf Outlaw can you take a picture or something of Aerith being in your party ,while your at a location where Aerith never could of been. A lot of people say you can get her back, but there are no extra cut scenes for that kind of thing. I can see it may be possible with the gameshark, but most of these sayings are lies.

Sure but the reviving Aeris sene is partically true. You can revive her it was included as part of the side Quest which Square Soft descided not to put in. So, you need a gs to revive her. And as for a place she's never bben to are ya talking about Mt. Nible or something? Cause it's been along time since I've played FFVII.

Landlord of Sector 7

yes can't you revive her in the Japanese game? But if not they were planning on it but they ended up not being able to put it in due to deadlines. There were also many materia I believe they did not put in as well. As for some mistakes, on the truck in the escape from Shinra FMV, it says Midgols something instead of Midgar's something. Also, this one is sort of an iffy but in the Gold Saucer it does not make the slightest sense how all those tubes can lead to the same place over and over because they are all facing differnet directions and such. has anyone else ever thought about that?

Well, no one's said anything about the Chocobo Greens yet, so I will ;)

If you notice in the game (I don't remember any examples right now), some of the greens will have multiple names because of poor translations. Also, one of the items from the Ft. Condor Side Quest are actually remedies... (I think it's rememdies), but have the name of an item from one of the early FF games (I think 3)

I have just realized that I have forgotten everything that is completely meaningless in FF7. Likely a lot stuff that is very meaningful as well :notgood:
