I don't like this trend of "uploading" samples. Just direct people to webpage to listen to it if they want to... Uploading samples is just a waste of time, I doubt anyone's downloading them and ripping them to their iPods going "Yes, low quality 30sec rips of a soundtrack, can't wait to play that over and over again..." Haha.

Just listened to the 1:30 samples that itunes provided. By god, this score exceeds the original (which I still love). I have to say, Tyler really hit a homerun with this one. You can really tell that, not only is the action greater, but there is a bit more thriller and drama involved in the sequel when listening to the more developed cues in this score.

My favorite track from listening to the samples, right now, is "Escape". Has such a grand sound that doesn't just have overly excited generic percussions, but a surprisingly powerful cue starting at :30 that immediately reminded me of one from James Horner's "War" from Avatar. You can tell shit is about to get real in this film's finale.
