The Deal - Christopher Lennertz (2004)

Tracklist (contains some genuine 'spoiler' track names)Tracklist:
For whatever reason, tracks 39-51 all imported with "Untitled" as their names. Note on the included inner cover scan, that's the group of redundant tracks mixed without vocals. When importing via XLD, I edited the metadata for those tracks, titling them appropriately and adding "sans vocals", to distinguish them from their matching, preceding track names.
I did not edit the metadata for tracks 1-38. Note that the CD's title for track 26 is "Black Star", whereas the redundant (sans vocals) version (track 44) is listed as one word "blackstar" in the inside cover scan. I stuck with the single word version, but used uppercase to keep the convention/consistency.

pw: whirlybirdBest extracted with 7Zip (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html), which is available for free download here (http://www.7-zip.org/download.html).

If you download with WinRar or WinZip, you may experience trouble with tracks #35,#48.
This is because the track names for 35 & 48 contain "?" question marks.
WinRar and WinZip change the "?" question mark character to an underscore_ during extraction.
If you must use WinRar or WinZip and experience problems with #35,48, please see special note below (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/deal-christopher-lennertz-2004-a-119122/#post2064007).

There is a problem with track 35. It's says the file is corrupt and won't extract. May there be a re-upload for track 35?

Ok, the full MP3 album link in the original post above has been updated. I completely re-ripped, re-zipped & re-upped the whole album.

However..
Both times I ripped, I got zero errors. I'm thinking the problem may be with the fact that track 35 (and 48) have "?" question marks in their titles.
So, I edited the metadata to remove the question marks, and re-re-ripped those two tracks and zipped them separately.

If you extract the file with 7Zip and NOT with WinZip or WinRar the extracting works, the programm makes an _ instead of an ? of the filename :-D....Probally a info for the first post :-D

Thanks very much for the info!

I'm on a Mac at both home and work, so I can't replicate the problem. I've added that info to the first post. I also had a similar issue with my post of Year of the Dog by Christophe Beck (Thread 119703). Two of the tracks contained "quotation marks". I wish I had seen your reply before re-ripping that one today. I just need to tell people to use 7Zip.
