This is a wonderful score, bought this when it came out. Also, a terrific Christmas movie, under-rated. Thanks for sharing with everyone... :)

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE VERY BEST CHRISTMAS FILMS.... with a gorgeous score... abetter bit rate would be nice, but beggars can not be choosers.

Take notice of Master Wildwood P's largesse.

Marry Christmas Wildwood!! I love this movie and of course the score...my favorite scene is at the ice ring!! that is when real actors could act, dance and sing.

Yeah that was a different time to be sure.

I just recommended the movie to a few friends on one of my web sites that I frequent.

It is interesting that 1) Elsa Lancaster is 3 X-mas films- THE BISHOP'S WIFE; BELL, BOOK & CANDLE; and COME TO THE STABLE, 2) Cary Grant and David Niven decided to switch roles for THE BISHOP'S Wife, and 3) most of The Bishop's Wife had to be reshot since the test audience did not like the original version... whatever that was.

People that I introduce it to always say the same thing: That is a lovely film.

Yeah that was a different time to be sure.

I just recommended the movie to a few friends on one of my web sites that I frequent.

I was fortunate when I was a kid! my mother would set me down and we would watch this when it came on TV (early 60's) as I got older I bought the VHS tape of this and gave it to my mom for Christmas one year, we wore it out! now she is 85 and we have the DVD and still watch it, still laugh and love this movie :) my brothers! not so much...there loss, my gain. I'm still amazed of the number of people who have not seen this movie! my ex-wife for one did not like it...she has no taste!! explains why she is an ex :) same with An Affair To Remember!! can you believe that! a women that did not like that movie!! should have been my first clue...oh well...live and learn.

I would like to have seen the first version! I had no idea it was re-shot!! and I'm sure none of the footage exists today...what a shame. :( I love Cary Grant, the way he talked and dressed...now that man dressed like a million bucks! one of the reasons I love my suites and wear them as much as I can. It is a very heart warming movie...and what happens when we get so wrapped up in life's problem's and ignore our loved one's.

Much like my mind, I misplace things.

But the season is nearly here... and this film (and music) and Bell Book and Candle (and music) are the finest of Christmas entertainment even today.
