Seems like a huge waste re-uploading all of our stuff if all it is just going to be taken down again.
I would go the ftp route but FFS users are not as tech savy with ftp's and all of my ftp threads either get buried because of lack of interest.
I don't want to say FFS's are lazy but it seems the majority of users just want stuff to be handed to them so thats why other methods such as ftp or torrents don't work around here.

I don't know how to explain this, but the quality of the music when it plays in-game sounds a lot better than the ripped versions. Plus, I want to rework Asylum again. Quite a bit of good stuff that's got pops and clicks in my version, so I want to fix that.

Is that rip the one where you ripped 225 tracks along with some complete mixes of your own? Then I have that. I'm just wondering if that's the best possible version that anyone could do with.
I'm an audiophile, I like mixing and keeping stuff in actual FLAC (not from the OGGs...). So if you've managed to get the best possible quality for the music using your ripping methods, it's fine by me. All I wanted was an update, like if you could rip the sounds out in better quality than you previously did.

The original format was in ogg. If you were actually an audiophile you would already know that you can't go from ogg to just flac to get better quality.

Can I request Splinter Cell: Conviction (whichever console has the most lossless format, even if it's in OGG)? Infernus was going to rip it for me and then abandoned it because of some personal reasons or something.

You did not give "a" request. You spammed it, consistently, filling the thread with useless posts all in the attempt to nag a response out of OJ. Well, you got your response all right. He could have been more diplomatic about it, but regardless you got what you had coming. So either shut the hell up and take this as a lesson learned or...well, keep on carrying on as you are and then we'll get the mods to shut you up for us. Your choice.

I have some new fresh rips incoming soon so stay tuned. Been hella busy with life in general but im off during the holiday break so maybe i can get some more done.

Hello OrangeC, I was wondering if you could help me. One of your old partners named "Kataah (http://forums.ffshrine.org/members/kataah-vgm_legacy-321429)" uploaded a Halo Wars gamerip in 1 of the old VGM legacy threads back in 2009. problem is he used Megaupload which is now defunct (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/vgm-legacy-thread-64926/20.html#post1270085).

Do you have any idea where Kataah may be currently? I'd like to locate him so I could ask him if he could reupload this gamerip. unfortunately his account has been dead here since February of 2010 so I don't think a PM would do any good.

Probably the best score of the year! Was hard to rip considering the engine has changed and all files are bunched up into archives rather then the previous folder structure, No filenames. But the music came in FLAC lossless. :)

Well mainly I'm looking for gamerip versions of Halo Reach and Halo 4. Reach was never done because everybody assumed everybody else was doing it and just got plain overlooked. and I believe Halo 4 is still being looked into, its file structure is different then what Bungie was doing or something I don't know but I can understand why 4 isn't out yet or won't be anytime soon.

Reach though I definitely like to get a gamerip of and since that is a big title then theres a good chance I'll see it here eventually.
