Really an amazing soundtrack. Though there are some remixes of themes like "Akasuki" still the original pieces are great. Even a few unreleased songs from the original anime made it in here which is nice. Enjoy ^_^. If you are experiencing any problems with the download please inform me.

Can make a flac version with the scans ?

Sadly i can't provide scans. Someone who bought the soundtrack will have to do that. I simply found someone posting the soundtracks one by one so i downloaded all of them and properly tagged them. So this is a bit unofficial. A few people here already have preordered the soundtrack so they should post that version pretty soon i'd guess. Also i can't make flacs atm (not enough disk space. It was hard enough just trying to make this soundtrack without going over the limit).

I would like to mention that there will be no Naruto movie for 2013. So if we're going to get a Naruto Shippuden soundtrack CD this year it's going to have to be OST 3.

Those unreleased tracks may finally come out after all.

I will say that Road to Ninja's OST is very, very nice. Exceptionally memorable from start to finish, full of emotion, powered by a strong main theme constructed for Naruto and his family. The action tracks, particularly "Middle Age Attack", "Behind the Mask", "Madara vs. Naruto", and "My Name", are filled with a ferocious energy that hooks into your mind and stays there. Finally, "Nine-Tails Vs. Black Nine-Tails" is a composition many have waited for from the Naruto series, the only instruments are traditional Japanese instruments, providing a rhythmic experience.

Also pretty sweet to hear "Breakdown" and "Road to Ninja" show up here, both are tracks from the TV series that were unreleased (well, the first minute or so of "Road to Ninja" is exclusive to the movie, the remaining 3:20 are from the TV series).

glad to see that someone has really beeing hooked on getting th eunreleased tracks. Call it a sin or not, I have not seen ANY of shippuden or movies or the tv series. I only watched the original series, and at some point I was already mad that we had a LOT of unreleased tracks, and most of them, my favorite. :(
A pointed to a friend the same exact tracks you pointed above, as my favorite tracks. :)
Just saying it, becaue it is interesting. Similar likings. ;)

It's possible an uploader from animeost put it there. Idk tho since i post my stuff in the forums and some admin posts them officially on the site.

I posted this MONTHS before i started working for animeost so this isn't exactly a legit rip or anything. Also your post count is funny ^_^

You know, when you kinda think about it, this OST basically is Naruto Shippuden OST 3. A LOT of the tracks here pop up in the TV series. "On The Road" has been played in several of the recent episodes, for example. "Breakdown" and "Road to Ninja" were played long before the movie came out. "Behind the Mask", "Sign", and "My Name" have all gotten played at least once that I know of. "Conflict" has also played albeit in a rearranged form with different instruments.

Just putting things into perspective here. I know we all want OST 3 but Road to Ninja in a lot of ways basically is OST 3.

How come your user name is NotSpecial when you are aware of all of these things :D I thought I was analyzing Naruto music on my own island. Seemingly, sharp ears are still alive ! :D It is so much different when people hear music for fun and joy and totally different other story when it is about concentration and analysis. Catchy ears are the first step into perfecting music, albeit there are always people who claim that their ears are sharp and they will be diluted by meaningless music pieces, just because it is done by their favorite composer.
Things are so different for Naruto music. By far, I guess it is one of the best music ever done for anime series. I am still hopeful for OST 3 this December. Or by the end of the series, which is, sadly, being extend for commercial reasons by adding more fillers. Moreover, there are still around 15-20 unreleased tracks and maybe more will come with the OST 3.

That's actually what i was afraid of. I was afraid that the fact soundtracks from the anime showed up here that this is just a way to compensate for the fact that there won't be a 3rd OST. If that's true i will be VERY upset. I really wonder why Naruto seems to be the only long running anime with this issue. One Piece has 4 soundtrack albums and 10 movie soundtracks. Since the show uses tracks from movies there aren't nearly as many missing tracks left out. Bleach and Fairy Tail are pretty much the same.

But the fact that Naruto has yet to get another release in 3 years is leaving me less hopeful with every passing month. I think it was a mistake that they don't use movie tracks in the anime honestly.

I wonder if part of it is because Hayato Date, the director for Naruto Shippuden, did not direct any of the Naruto Shippuden movies except for Road to Ninja . . . and Road to Ninja's BGM is the only movie BGM to show up in Naruto Shippuden's TV version (or, perhaps, Naruto Shippuden's TV BGM shows up in Road to Ninja, take your pick). Perhaps Date doesn't want to use any music besides the ones he had Yasuharu Takanashi compose for him, I don't know.

But I think another factor is that Aniplex is a primary producer of the movies but is only the music producer of the TV series, rights issues may be part of what keeps the movie tracks out of the TV series. But at the same time, that doesn't make any sense as Aniplex is still in control of the music in either case.

I don't really know.

Again, there is no movie OST this year. If they do not release an OST 3 this year, when they can fill the void of no movie OST, they never will.

There will be another Naruto movie in 2014 from what I understand, they could release more TV numbers on it, it depends if Date directs this one too I guess.

The anime is roughly seventy chapters behind the manga. I doubt they'll keep stalling for much longer. The Naruto manga looks to be approaching its end so they may be trying to ensure they can go straight to the end without going into filler again.

That's why i wish Aniplex wasn't the publisher for the Naruto series. Because this is usually an issue with them. Whenever they release a soundtrack for an anime it's either

a. Doesn't include all the tracks used in the show

or

b. You can only get the soundtrack when you buy a blueray bundle which is expensive as hell.

Honestly i think they do B more often than not because they make more money that way (hardcore soundtrack lovers are pretty much forced to buy the bundle if they want it for themselves). I kind of wish Pony Canon had gotten the rights to Naruto because with most of the anime they publish the whole soundtrack becomes available in a decent amount of time.

But with Aniplex you won't even see the soundtrack until like 5 months after it's finished in a blueray bundle. And by that time you've probably forgot the anime existed >.>. I kind of think the community of Naruto that loves the music needs to start a petition (if it hasn't already been done) so we can show them that there is a large number of people who would purchase it and it would be very profitable for them (since these days it's not very profitable releasing CDs on their own).

I wonder if any of the Naruto Shippuden Japanese Blu-Rays or DVDs have any CD samplers in them. I remember that it took a few years but somebody got their hands on the CD sampler included in a Bleach 5th Anniversary boxset. If Naruto Shippuden has anything similar to that it might be a good place to start looking for more tracks.

Sadly there is no such thing. There are only two cases where extra music was released in Blueray/DVD packs and that was with the 4th Movie and the 5th one. The 4th one had 10 extra tracks while the 5th one had 8. These extra tracks however are by another composer instead of Takanashi and aren't even played in the movies they come with or the anime. I guess it's just a little something extra special for those who bought the pack. Still pretty lame though =/.

Ah, I see. That sucks, royally.

I'm not going to give up on OST 3, though. I doubt they'd release it right now anyway as the anime is currently in filler but in the fall we should be back in canon and they may release it this December like OSTs 1 and 2. That's the hope, anyway.
