Is anyone else getting the following error message when trying to extract the SECOND part, having any issue with it?: "THIS ARCHIVE IS EITHER IN UNKNOWN FORMAT OR DAMAGED". I got the first part, with 19 of he 23 total tracks, but have tried (downloaded part two) TWICE with my Winrar extractor and problem is puzzling to me.

If at all possible without it being a hassle FilmScoreFan, could we get this in ONE file, if not FLAC (which I truly am grateful to have whenever available) then in mp3 320 on ONE link. I actually could not extract Part One either, when I try to load into my audio convertor. Which appreciate it.

I'm afraid that I'm unaquainted neither with the Mastersplitter software you mention nor the step of renaming the files with sequential file extentions. Willing to discover however how to go about doing that :).

Sure,you can dowload tomosofts master splitter program. its shareware. it divides and rejoins large files with the extension .001, .002, .003 and so forth into the original size.

I would recommend the Cheshire Cat Joiner (CheshireCat's One Click File Joiner - Free Download - Tucows Downloads (http://www.tucows.com/preview/519368/CheshireCats-One-Click-File-Joiner)) which is free and very automatic.

Or good old HJSplit - it's old, but it works.

You guys and gals must read John Scott anecdotes that are written in the liner notes. Absolutely priceless :laugh:

Sorry you've had issues downloading the file. I re-created the archives and uploaded the files to a new service; hopefully, this will resolve the problems.

Man, I loved this movie as a kid, and remember trying to record the theme music off the TV with a cassette recorder (you can imagine the results).

So thanks! It still sounds great after all these years. Much better than that cassette.

For some reason I didn't see this thread until today.

Went ahead and downloaded it, and promptly converted it to mp3 128 as I absolutely HATE the FLAC format because of bloat. I saved over 230mb of disc space this way. I realize that in this day and age of terabit drives, 230megs isn't a lot, but I am all about conserving as much space as possible - especially now that I am doing archival backups of my music (which comes in at 75 gigs unzipped), and if my collection were all in the FLAC format, it would be a hell of a lot larger than it is now.

I get what you're saying, Arc, but for me FLAC has become my new standard. The simple fact that it allows me to listen to symphonies and operas (and the occasional continuous rock tracks) without the irritating mp3 g-a-p-s is worth every extra bit of disc space the files take up.
