Hello, in this thread I'll post three soundtracks of Dragon Ball GT. We'll start with the japanese version, which in this case is divided into two: The Original and the Inedit.

1. Dragon Ball - Saikyō e no Michi Original Soundtrack. Is the official licensed soundtrack of 10th anniversary Dragon Ball movie by the same name (The Path to Power in Funimation dub.). It was released by Columbia Records on March 23, 1996 in Japan only. This album contains a track from the film that also played in Dragon Ball GT due to that the shows composer Akira Tokunaga worked on the film as well. As a result this album is sought after by many fans of the GT series. The album also includes a cinematic version of the GT opening theme song "Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku" by the band Field of View. The soundtrack has 45 tracks in total. If you wish to know more of this soundtrack, check this:

2. Dragon Ball GT Unreleased (Japanese Soundtrack by Akihito Tokunaga). This is a compilation of 77 tracks taken directly from the series. It consists of music from Dragon Ball GT, which has not been published yet. This extraction and editing are not mine, I got this music some time ago. The score is composed by Akihito Tokunaga.

Now let's talk about of the american version.

<a href="http://s1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd495/Photos-666/Posts/?action=view&current=Dragon-Ball-GT-Super-Baby-Vegeta-vs-SSJ4-Goku.jpg" target="_blank">

3. Dragon Ball GT Unreleased (American Soundtrack by Mark Menza). The composer of the background music for the american version was Mark Menza, after that FUNimation entrusted him the musical work. Recently Derek Padula interviewed the composer, here I include the link so you know more about the soundtrack, the interview is divided in two parts:

<a href="http://s1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd495/Photos-666/Posts/?action=view&current=Dragon-Ball-GT-Pan.jpg" target="_blank">

Dragon Ball GT Music - Composer Mark Menza Interview Part 1 | The Dao of Dragon Ball Blog (http://thedaoofdragonball.com/blog/interviews/dragon-ball-gt-music-composer-mark-menza-interview-part-1/)

Dragon Ball GT Music - Composer Mark Menza Interview Part 2 | The Dao of Dragon Ball Blog (http://thedaoofdragonball.com/blog/interviews/dragon-ball-gt-music-composer-mark-menza-interview-part-2/)

<a href="http://s1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd495/Photos-666/Posts/?action=view&current=Trunks_gt_normal-.png" target="_blank">

In the second part you can read that is improbable that they realize the original soundtrack of Mark Menza, but we will always have the hope, as good fans of the series. The soundtrack I offer here has 76 tracks and like the original japanese version, the extraction is not mine.

<a href="http://s1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd495/Photos-666/Posts/?action=view&current=Dragonball_GT-.jpg" target="_blank">

So, here have them, the two japanese versions and the american inedit soundtrack, in a single link.

You've done it, Vlad. An absolute monster of a release, and one of the most comprehensive, complete and clearly amazing unofficial soundtrack releases (for a television show, no less) I've ever seen. This is more than enough to sate my thirst for awesome music from this series.

Thank you, Mr Vlad Drakul. For seeing my call for help and swooping in like the knight in shining armour you are! An outstanding release, you are one of my new favourite people on the Shrine. No, the internet!

Stay frosty!

Thank just finished getting them :)

I must say, it is beyond my human comprehension how can some true suposed fan of Dragon Ball even like DBGT. I hate till teh very end, except... the Android part. I am not going to say all of bad I have to say about it. Don't want to build enemies here.
The japanese soundtrack, honestly never get onto me. I never actually liked it.
I was introduced to the DBZ american soundtrack, by Bruce Faulconer, some years ago. I never saw the series with american soundtrack. I was more lucky then the americans. I saw the series since Dragon Ball to GT from 1994 to 1999. Shunsuke Kikuchi was more marking with his soundtrack on the original Japanese version. However, when I got the Bruce Faulconer cds, juts for curiosity I was indeed astonished. The music of Bruce gave me a whole new image on Dragon Ball Z environment.
Mark Menza apparently, in DBGT, tried to go on the same "wave" and "style" of Bruce, and quite frankly, I like how he worked on it. I can feel his own style in here (Mark Menza style, I mean) but I can also see it mixed with what he may have wanted worked similar to Bruce.

Dragon ball is really "something". After playing several games on the DS I have just finished Dragon ball Z : Burst limit on the xbox. And the story should certainly catch you into it. I never used to be so much into the anime thing. Now I know the reason, the progress in the anime is so sluggish and sometimes it take them several episode to warm-up a Kamkameha :) That is why I saw only very few episodes of the anime. I am glad, though, that I played some games because it opened the door for me to be better informed of this nice story. So recommend Burst limit game.
P.S: The story of the Dragon ball in general is concentrated about defending friendship and protecting others. I hope that some of these values are implanted into future generations.

I never gave much attention to Dragon Ball games, to be honest. For me Dragon Ball will always be what you said "concentrated about defending friendship and protecting others".
Dragon Ball Z went weird. I preffer the Movies much more then the TV series. I say this because teh fights in Dragon Ball Z are not choreographed specially when everyone starts to be godly and.... you just see some scraches on your tv and it seems it is 2 guys fighting. I see no fun in that. the movies have some freaking good fight scenes and greatly choreagraphed. Dragon Ball Z is not a martial arts anime, not the TV series. The movies are.
Although in Majin Boo saga we did had choreographed stuff, but that saga was annoying. Eveyrtime Boo was suposed to die, they comeup with some shit so that there were more episodes. But DBZ was still good in it's own way. There were a lot of reasons Ikept on watching the series.
Can't say teh same about DBGT. Horrible till the very end. Because it was getting so horrible the series was canceled in Japan.
I preffer to say that fans should not see it. The All idea of GT (Gran Turismo) died at the moment Super Goku 4 appeared. I dont care how mad fans will be, there is no sense in that supid thing called Super Sayan 4. I have never seen such screwed up thing before like that.

Quick question, does the unreleased Japanese version include the TV Size version of the Opening and Ending themes of GT?

EDIT UPDATE: Nevermind on most of the endings and the opening not released. They are on there. However, I noticed the TV Version of Blue Velvet is not included among the collection.
